Good Morning and Hello to all, Congrats to all my fellow sleevers and sleevers to be , I just got sleeved yesterday August 19th, surgery was a success and I am feeling much better than yesterday. So excited about this new journey : )

Everything is going to be ok, your baby boy knows you love him. I don't know what kind of phone you have but maybe you can make him a short video saying you love him before you go into the OR. Praying everything goes smoothly for you.

Welcome Brooke, I just started my 6mo. diet about two weeks ago. There is a lot of information and helpful people on this website. Hopefully these 6 mo. go by fast : )

I couldn't agree with you more Irish, I have 1 son, and 2 daughters and I would do anything for them, I too have a rocky relationship with my mom and I am determined to do better for my kids.

Well I hope everything gets better with your mother, they can be a handful sometimes......LOL

Hello everybody, I just Started My 6 month diet I need for my insurance to pay for my sleeve surgery. Is there anyone else here doing the whole 6 month diet too? I am so excited I can't wait for these six months to go by. I actually went for this surgery a year ago, but I chickened out when they told me I had to do a six month diet. I figured in six months I can lose the weight on my own. Well a year later and I'm up 10lbs. So I'm committed to getting this done, for my health and my kids. Good luck and GOD bless you all : )

Thanks Kczar for the great advice I will definitely start working out and check out some more threads around here so I can be better prepared for what's to come
