  1. My pre op is tomorrow too. The only thing I know for sure is that I will be meeting with the anestheologist. Did I spell that right? :-)
  2. I go for preadmission testing on Monday and meet with the nutritionist on May 2 to get the instructions for my liquid diet. I'm scheduled for surgery on May 8th. My liquid diet seems to be shorter than what most of you are saying. What are your thoughts. I just joined this forum today, so this is my first question since I made my introduction.
  3. I'm just joining and making my introduction as it seems that's the best place to start. I tend to jump in and not look around first, but I think I saw that this is the first thing I should do here. I have been eager to talk with others about their lap band experiences and this may be exactly what I need to do to be able to do so. I've been awaiting a phone call from 2 local people that I was told would get in contact with me as I wanted to talk with them before my surgery. To date, neither of the 2 called. I've not yet had the surgery, but I am scheduled for next month and I probably have many of the same concerns that most people have had. The Dr has done his best to answer my questions, but after all, he's the Dr and I'm more interested in talking with patients... so here I am and ready to read and learn and share what I can.
