  1. I'm not sure. OGB is in charge of our insurance. None of the choices we have eve covers WLS. They are pretty verbal about, no how, no way. But I'm happy with mt decision to self pay.
  2. One slice Jennie O oven roasted turkey breast 1-tbls Greek plain non fat yogurt ( had mixed a container of this stuff with a packet of hidden valley ranch) 2-slices of Sargento reduced fat Colby jack cheese. Spread the yogurt on the turkey, put cheese on top of yogurt, roll up, enjoy. 145 calories, 1 carb, 9 fat, 20 Protein ( according to mfp) I was only able to eat half, was good! Looking forward to eating my other half later
  3. I want in!!! My first challenge!!! I'm three weeks post op. I weigh 250 now, I want to weigh 225 by labor day. Also, continue to track food on my fitness pal, and continue to work out 4-5 weekly. Hope I can do it!!!
  4. I've been smoke free since May 14. I also had to stop smoking prior to surgery. I used the nicotine patch and suckers to help. I've been off the patch since my surgery, just would forget to put them on, and I'm doing good. I'm surprised with myself. I feel so much better, especially when I'm exercising. Again, i must say,I'm really surprised about my progress. I LOVED smoking. I'm 34 and been smoking since I was 16. Never thought I'd be in the place i am now with smoking.
  5. From 254 last week to 251 this week
  6. I tried to get into Louisiana one too...but needed a password and don't know how to get one also, lol
  7. Hot dog!!! Got my fitbit in today!!! Can't wait to start using it tomorrow. Does anyone else have the scale that syncs to it? After my surgery two weeks ago, I bought a new scale. I regret that now. I would've loved to have the scale that "goes with" my fitbit. Fitbit name is Wolfgirl78 if anyone wants to be friends.
  8. Well the Tuna agreed with me! Yay!!!!!! Now, I could only take about 4 bites of what's in that cup, mind you. At this time, it looks like that cup will last for many meals, lol I've been able to eat eggs, oatmeal, and bake potato so far, but not much. Still getting majority of my Protein through shakes.
  9. I'm psyched out its tuna fish and cracker day!!! I don't ever remember being this psyched about tuna fish before...guess that what happens when you lived on liquids for so long. Yesterday I had oatmeal and a little bit of bake potato. That went well...now hopefully this does! Meanwhile my family feast on Popeyes fried chicken
  10. Pre-sleeve I used to hardly ever weigh myself. 2 weeks in after sleeve, I weigh myself everyday. It has become an obsession. I'm hoping it tapers off
  11. I ordered mine this weekend. Should be here tomorrow!! Squee!
  12. I attached a list of eating progression list ( hopefully its attached, lol) my surgeon wants us to go by. Scrambled eggs sit good with me. I'm gonna try some oatmeal later today. Beans made me sick.
  13. You look great! One of my goals is to be able to wear a bikini and look good in it.
  14. Hi! Welcome! I was sleeved 2 weeks ago today. I'm glad to hear your doing so well! I'm also bored at home, I'm spending way too much money because of it, lol. I go back to work Monday.
  15. I'm trying to start using mfp---Wolfgirl78
