Today I was barely able to lift my arms to fold laundry. My husband brought me a piece of canned peach with some juice. It was amazing how much better I felt today. I actually went to the store. Slow but I wasn't able to do that before. I think the lack of any carbs depletes any blood sugar we have. Hope that helps! -

Really? Are you feeling sick or is it just the thought? I couldn't wait until puréed even though I swore I would never do that. Tonight I made a pork roast and put soup over it. I blended 2 oz of meat mixed w the soup gravy and it turned out like the consistency of chicken salad. It was really good but I could only get 1 oz down. I'm still full an hour later.

I was sleeved on the 13th and am in the same boat. I get up and get on the scales and am like, REALLY??? I have only lost about 12 lbs and it seems like after what little I am eating, it should be more than that. Anyway, I go to the dr on Monday and look forward to talking to the nutritionist and going over everything.

Aw, that first week is murder. I was so happy to start puréed foods today. Hang in there!

I lost my Grandma in October and as I have my surgery Wed., I can't help but feel bad that she won't get to see me at a normal weight. I will be taking the slippers she got me before she passed though so she will be there with me in spirit. She also died suddenly. She had a kidney stone and developed sepsis in the hospital. I sure miss her. -

Thanks so much for this information! My husband has his surgery last week and mine will be in June. He had a terrible sore throat that eventually had to be treated with antibiotics but I can't help but think that the lozenges might have helped. I've already printed out this list and will be grateful for it! Thanks much - so glad to find a forum of those who understand!
