Hi. Quick question. I am on a liquid diet for two weeks. I am only allowed Water, popsicles, broth, & Protein drinks. Question is do I have to make my Protein shakes with only water?? Can I add half water/half skim milk?? Can I add some yogurt? powder Peanut Butter? Or banana?? Thanks

Hi trcypkr, Glad to hear you are doing well. I came home yesterday. Only one day in the hospital. I feel a lil overwhelmed with the pain, gas, nausea, drinking sips, & not being able to hold my one year old. I'm sure As days go by it will pass. Well I'm hoping so. So happy for you!! Denise

Ogosh. I'm on my way to the hospital now. It's kicking in. I prayed and prayed that god will be with me and send me back home tomorrow with my beautiful princesses! I can't believe I am finally getting sleeved tomorrow. It seemed like it would never happen with all my hurdles.. I can't wait! Excited then nervous then excited again! Omgosh.. I cheated too.. I couldn't help it. Reading that some docs don't have a special diet gave me peace of mind to cheat :/ I feel so guilty.. I was doing so good saying no to all food.. I lost 10 pounds.. my bmi is 38.. I gave in yesterday and my surgery is Tuesday at 12 noon.. all I'm eating/drinking now is water, and protein drinks.. I also took a drink to flush my system.. someone please tell me that I will be okay and ready for surgery??
