  1. Ok I drink plenty of Water but with the protien requirements my doctor has put me on it is difficult at best to eat additional fiber. My Doc wants me to eat at lease 70g of fiber daily. I am supplimenting with protien drinks. I have found Monster Milk fives you the most bang with 50g of protien per serving. Remember do not use these suppliments as your sole source of protien. I have gotten accustomed to not Sh***ing as regularly as I uses to. As far as taking a leak I have no problem with the quantity of water I drink daily. I usually have a bottle of water everywhere I go and sip through out the day. I do stop about 30 to 40 minutes before any meal and resume about the same amount of time. I have also become friendly with various laxitives (dulcolax, miralax etc.) My wife gets on me about their use but try to pass a concrete liog and she will see I am 17 months post op.
  2. I have been banded for for 16 months and am down 86lbs. I began P90X and was doing well. Over the last few months I have gotten complacent and have gained 11lbs. I now realize that even with the band you must continue to maintain the success you received. I have read through several of the threads. I am glad to see the men have a place to share their experiences.
  3. I am testing my ticker
  4. I have a 14cc band. My doctor told me that it is just a size issue. Some people's esophagus is a little larger than others. Hey one question where do you get the weight loss tickers?
  5. Well today I recieved another fill of 1cc I am up to 9cc's we will see how it goes.
  6. I was very regular in exercising. I was doing P90x and doing well. I got a new job in which I travel extensively. I am now getting into a regular routine and am planning to get back on the exercise routine. I go in for another adjustment this weel. I have a 14cc band with 8 3/4 cc fill I want to get to 9.5cc and see how well restriction is. I was at 10cc and it was terrible I had to have some saline removed. I believe I am ready to move forward now.
  7. I had an adjustment and it was too tight. I had 3/4 cc removed and the restriction is too little.I am going back to have another adjustment to tighten. I have gained 10 lbs and I am not happy about this. As i learn i find that it is the right amount of restriction to help with appetite, exercise and proper diet. We all get lazy at one point or another it is important to remember that it is up to the individual to continue to try to improve. For me this is a life changing event and I myst work at it to be successful. Only when I reach my goal weight and even then will I feel that i have developed the proper skills to maintain my weight.
  8. Don't give up. You do not need to go on a liquid diet. Have you had any adjustments? I know how you feel I had done great for over a year and now I have been bouncing with my weight gaining andf loosing 5 or 6 pounds. You can do it!!! As you get adjustments there yo will see that your body will not let you eat but so much. When you feel you are full STOP AND WALK AWAY!!! I have been doing this on my own since the start. I had to tell my family that I can not go out with you to eat or when I do I woi=uld only order an appetiser. It is difficult but you m ust take small steeps t change what you have been doing all of your life!!! Hang in there. :D :D :D
  9. On occasion I get a small bruise. Not so often. Check with your physician to be sure.
