Thank you, if you don't mind me asking how far post op are you? I am 23 days and the only thing that settle well in my stomach are yogurt and protein shakes and I am tired of both of them. I have tried chicken salad, egg, mashed potatoe and nothing set well in my stomach.

I just don't know what to eat anymore, everything I put in my mouth it comes back up. Please, I need help. I am 23 days post-op. Johanna

Ask your Dr. I would say yes, what about all of us who went to Mexico to be sleeved. I took a fly home 3 days after surgery and I am feeling great with no complications, thank god!

I stayed at the hotel because my hubby came with me. 4 ladies that had the surgery same day as me were very happy at the recovery house.

$4500. I have 3 friends that had the sleeved with him in the last year and all 3 of them are skinny, healthy and happy.

Donna, you are right about having our fluids. I am 11 days post-op and feel great and I think it is because I drink all day and I am having my blended soups every 3 hours.

Yes Donna, be ready and after the first pill, I want you to know that it is not a waiting time. I took my 3rd pill as soon as I got to San Diego thinking that i will be ok to walk the city for a litlle bit...big mistake, thank god that I have a change of clothes with me. Lol.

ShannonH. I am with you. I don't know why people talk bad about Dr. Almanza. I was just sleeved on June 7th and I am as happy as can be. No complications at all and I loving my sleeved. 17 pounds down today. I love Dr Almanza and everyone at the facility were very caring. I have never received that kind of treatment here in USA. I will be back next year for some plastics with Dr. Lara at the same facility. Johanna

You will be fine going by yourself. I went with my hubby, but the ladies that went by themselves and stayed are the recovery house were very happy with the service.

It will be fine. I was just sleeved on June 7th and Louise was gone. Melissa and her daughter Heather are very good. I am very happy with Dr. Almanza. I am planning to go back next year to have some plastics done with Dr Lara. I am10 days post- op today and I feel very good. I am down 16 pounds from my surgery date. Good luck to all of you. Good luck with everything:) you won't regret it going with him. My recovery has been very good, 10 days post-op today and no pain, no nauseas and I am in my full liquids diet and no problems at all.

I actually stayed at the hotel because my husband went with me. The ladies that had surgery the same day As me stayed at the recovery house and we all went together for the leak test and they told me that they loved the house. I will be going next year for plastics after I get to my goal and I will be staying at the house. Dr Almanza is a hottie, he took his shirt off for us to see his incisions for when he had the sleeve and let me tell you we all went like WOW!!!
