  2. Ok I am 8 days post op and I am very frustrated. I had lost 10 lbs and now I gained back 2. I ham having a very hard time figuring out if I am hungry or what. I will feel hungry but then I will take 2-3in sips and my stomach will hurt. Then I never can tell if I am hungry or thirsty. What can I do. I never know what I should be drinking water, juice or protein shake. What should I be doing??
  3. I ate some egg drop soup last night I was fine. I ate little more today and now I regret it. My stomach is felling not to good. I am one week post op today on full liquid and having difficulty finding variety. I am getting so bored.
  4. I started my sleeve journey in July 2011. That is when I started my classes with my insurance provider. I had my first appointment w/ my surgeon, Dr. Suh, in December 2011. I just had my surgery in January 23, 2012. At first I was wondering what the hell have I done to myself, but now I am glad that I stuck to my decision. I am already feeling better. I am following my 1st week diet as planned and dropping weight. My husband has been behind my decision the entire way. He has told me that I am doing this for myself and not him. Because he loves me that way I am. I did have a few friends that opposed my doing the procedure. But after having long descussions with them about why I made my decision they changed their mind. I decided to do this because I have been heavy my whole life and done the yo-yo diets since I was a teenager. I wanted to be healthy and able for my children. I never want them to have to go through what I have endured for being a heavy person. The only way to do this was to lead by examples. My daughter is a junk food junky at 4 yrs old. So I have to set the example of how to eat better food. My son at 6 already has made better eating choices then I did when I was 6. I am so happy to be losing weight and knowing that I have the knowledge and discipline to keep it off.
  5. I had also gained weight after my surgery. I pre op wt on Jan 25th was 208. When I weighed on Wed after I left the hospital I was 210. It was all from the IV fluids. I weighed myself on Fri I was 206. So it will start to come off.
