  1. Mine is doing the same thing. Lucky for me my hair is thick but oh how it scares me. I do a lot of deep conditioning. It should start slowing up soon.

  8. It was extremely cold outside this morning so I decided to look for my size 14 pea coat which I wore the first year I had the band now 2 months post op from bypass the coat fits and I've got room in the sleeves that I never had. I haven't been able to wear this coat for the last 5 years! I'm so excited!
  9. Welcome to the site! As many have already said this site is a great place to visit! I'm about 2 months post op and I'm thankful I had the band to bypass revision! You're off to a great start! Keep us posted!
  10. Welcome! I'm a revision band to bypass. I tried the band first because I was afraid of the bypass even though my mom had the bypass 21 years ago. I'm now loving my bypass and wish I would have chosen it the first go around. My Doctor recommended the sleeve (which has provided individuals with great results) but I've seen where people do the sleeve to bypass revision so I opted for the bypass because I didn't want to risk needing another revision. Both procedures have their risk but you must think positive. Good luck with your decision! Make are you choose the one you want and not the one others tell you to get. Keep us posted.
  11. My leggings are to big now they look like slacks!
  12. Your stats look great! Be proud of where you are. I would say a loose 18/20 is awesome! Congrats!
  13. I'm sorry to hear tey want to put it back in and that you made need it to feed yourself. I've lost track I'm either 7 or 8 weeks out and have been cleared to eat anything but my new pouch is so fickle so I try to stock with moist chx, fish and ground turkey but I chew until its puréed. Some days are better than others. Smells make me nauseous ad so do certain foods. I can drink a little more than the baby sip but I'm still a work in progress. So each day you will get better a little more pain will subside and eventually you will begin to feel somewhat normal. Granted I still slime from time to time but I'm getting better. Just be patient. I pushed myself to move around and to get in my fluids and meds and still do to this day. Eventually we all adjust. Keep on striving and you'll do great! Best of luck to you! Oh try the small 8 ounce bottles of water or a tumbler cup so you can measure your fluids better and not feel overwhelmed. I've even started drinking more decaf tea because water doesn't taste as good as it use to but it's slowly tasting better.
  14. Today my shirt kept falling off me luckily I had on a tank top underneath. When I went to get my eyebrows done today my tech didn't recognize me. She's been on maternity leave since May. She kept talking about my weightloss and how beautiful I look!
  15. My collar bones are peaking out a little today!
  16. Yesterday I had on a pair of slacks and didn't look in the mirror until 5 minutes before it was time to go home. When I got home my daughter talked so bad about the pants I took them off without having to unbutton or unzip them so now it's official I must retire them.
