  1. People at work keep coming up to me talking about how much weight I lost. One lady told me that I'm dropping pounds so much she afraid they might fall on her! Lol! The guy today told me that I dress so nice! And wanted to know did I do fashion shows! I'm like thanks! Really though I can only see the difference when I take pics and then I don't believe it's me! The new wardrobe and smaller clothes are the only indicator as I rarely get on the scale! I'm loving this journey!
  2. Hello there! I hope the biopsy went well! I'm praying for you and your Mom! I'm doing good! I'm down about 70 something pounds. I don't weigh in that often I tend to measure by clothes. I've had to get a whole new wardrobe! I'm wearing large tops and dresses and size 12/14! I'm still wearing 14 petite jeans and refuse to buy a 16 anything or an XL. I've found that shopping is harder than usual because I don't know what department to go to but I'll figure it out. I'm wearing my heels again. The higher the better! I was previously wearing 2X, 18-22 so I'm happy for the change. Granted any 18s were really old and use to my body. Congrats on your weightloss! You're doing great!
  3. Congrats on the pregnancy and making it to onederland!
  4. Sure I would love to see what your skin looks like. My inner thighs are my problem.
  5. I was scared too so in 07 I got the band, well I had a revision almost 6 months ago to bypass and I absolutely love it! I wish I would've did it in 07. Good luck and keep us posted!
  6. You can say that again! It's the story of my life.
  7. I know the feeling! Take a picture of yourself and you will not believe your eyes. I just took a pic yesterday and didn't believe it was me. As for the clothes I feel that the bigger the clothes the bigger you look. Purchase a couple of items in your size. You could even buy them one size smaller depending on how the feel to u. Don't spend a lot because you will not wear them for long. Try thrift stores and clearance racks. Happy shopping!
  8. I know the feeling my stomach won't allow me to eat when my nerves are bad so I just stick to liquids during those days.
  9. Hey Marla! What's going on? R u gaining a pound or two and then losing it back off? We all do that from time to time. I've read in a lot of places on here and I do the same increase your protein and water intake. R u exercising or at least walking? Just stay focused and you'll start losing again! Good luck! Keep us posted.
  10. Hello everyone! I'm band to bypass. I had my revision 5 months ago. I'm doing good. I'm down 67 pounds and a lot of inches. I haven't weighed myself in over a week and jeans and tops are getting looser so I've probably dropped a few pounds. I stall sometimes. I've experienced dumping so I try not to have more than 5 grams of sugar in any foods. I was planning on trying some Special K fruit and berries but now I don't know. If I do I'll keep you posted. Congrats to all those with your new surgery date!
  11. You sound like me. I've lost about 67 lbs. surgery 8/26 and a few stalls but I can tell I'm steadily losing inches. I'm sure you are to so keep a track of your measurements! You're doing great!
  12. I've been taking children's Benadryl or it's generic version because they come in liquid and the same for their Tylenol.
  13. I'm praying for you! I hate that you're going through this. I thought you were feeling better. I hope they hurry up and find out what's wrong. Keep us posted!
  14. You look great! You inspire me! Congrats on the weightloss!
  15. I would love to connect on fitbit I just need to figure out how and to determine what my email address is. Hopefully this will motivate me to excercise more.
  16. I wear my watch and my flex both on my left wrist which is not my dominate wrist and I don't have any problems although my watch goes on the larger part of my wrist because I wear the small fitbit flex band with room to spare.
  17. I went to a funeral yesterday and everybody kept calling me twiggy or skinny. When I looked in the mirror I thought I looked slimmer than usual. I've got to see how many inches I've lost.
  18. Congrats! You're doing great!
  19. You're doing great! Congrats!
  20. Lol! That was a good one! I loved it! Congrats!
  21. I haven't but I've just started to get back into my walking and maybe dancing so I hope I don't stall especially since I'm losing weight really good right now. Good luck!
  22. You rock! I'm so happy for you!
