The gas pains.....took gas-x but not helping ? Walking what else !

I work in a hospital and before you roll down to surgery they will ask you to take them out. Best thing is to take them out at home. Like the other young lady said they are safer at home. Lots of jewelry gets lost in hospitals. Good luck with your journey .

Was called yesterday I was approved a was scheduled for August 23. So happy .

Just waiting on a surgery date now. My lap-band buddy went to Dr. Yesterday an got her date already. We have the same insurance because we work together. Little disapointed.

Congratulation to everyone on getting a surgery date. I finished everything on July 20th hope to hear something soon.

I am not banded yet, but have done a lot of research, my surgeons office has a lot of options , several flavors of protein shakes, along with soups, puddings,and hot drinks. I go to Suncoast Barriatric. Give them a call. Good luck!

Thank all of you. I am in month 4 of my 6 month diet. Doing ok,but not great. I have a good surgeon and support staff. They tell you exactly what to do. My pre-op is June 25.

I have United Health Care of Florida. Anyone else have United Health?

I am new also, but a little further along. I have just had visit #3, of my supervised diet doctor. What I call jumping through hoops. Long process.....Hope its worth it.
