  1. Mine was included in the program. The only thing I had trouble with was my psych evual. The therapist the dr uses was out of network. I had to pay full price which to me was a rip-off for a thirty min. session.
  2. Calm down!!! I have the basic also. I had surgery on June 25th. I had to pay 150 copay for my surgeon before my surgery. I didn't have to pay any money up front the day of surgery. I told the hospital billing coordinator they could bill me!! Anyway, it's 150 per day at hospital and this includes meds. My final hospital bill is 300.00 because my surgeon required two night stay. Hope this helps!! Good luck with surgery.
  3. I am so tired of liquids!!! I know I have to do it, but I can't wait until soft foods next week. At least then I will feel like I'm participating in meals with my family. I came home wednesday. I have been lucky to not have any pain. The only thing I have is gas pain when I have my shakes or fluids.
  4. had my surgery yesterday. Everything went great!! Looking forward to my first meal (broth)!!. Hope everyone else is doing great.
  5. surgery went very well. Pain is very minimal. Going home in the morning
  6. ok. I'm having mine done tomorrow in Greenville.
  7. where are you having your surgery at?
  8. Thanks!! I'm ready to come over to the other side. Prayers needed I'm nervous!
  9. I have surgery on Monday the 25th. I have been on pre-op diet for two weeks. I knew I was a strong person, but just didn't know how strong. We spent a week at the beach this past week. Let me tell you...it was hard!! This was the first time on vacation where there were no alcoholic beverages or sodas consumed. I had to watch everyone else indulge in processed junk foods that are so good on the beach! I kept strong and reminded myself of the big picture. Now I must push thru tomorrow because I will only be allowed jello and broth.
  10. google Morton's Neuroma. I had it in both my feet. Symptoms started out just like your's then got worse. Had surgery to remove the nerve last year. Now there is no more pain or tingling. I have to be sure I wear proper fitting footwear. HTH.
  11. Love the pb2 choc. flavored. I mix with water and add to protein shakes. Yummy!!!! It is creamy when mixed, so yeah you could make sandwiches from it. My 6yr loved it with her cheetos
  12. Me too!!!! I start my pre-op the 9th. I have been eating "junk " the last 2 days. I guess it's my way of saying "bye, bye" sugar. Is that bad?
  13. Yay!!! Told you it wouldn't be a problem Now you can focus on preparing for your new life.
  14. I paid 150.00 for dr to do surgery, 150 for each night at hospital(dr requires 2nt) they cover 100% of surgery itself and all meds. I have surgery June 25th. After that I will let you know if they followed thru what I was quoted on paper!!
  15. I think you will be fine. Do you have standard or basic? I was just approved for june 25th. It took about 3days to be approved. Do you have co-morbities? If so that will help the process. I didn't have to do the 3mo diet since I had records of me attending a weight loss program on my own(bariatric clinic). BCBS fed. has been really good so far! Keep me posted.
  16. I have the basic. The only prob I have run into is my psych eval. req. by my dr was out of network. So I had to pay 225.00 out of pocket However, after everything is done my total for surgery is 450.00. That's drs and hospital. Not to bad considering my health!!

  21. I have a severe tape allergy, even to paper tape. I have to use this special burn creme(silver sulfide) when I have any bandages on an area for more than a few hours. My surgeon is going to use some type of derma bond glue. I just hope I don't have a reaction to it.
  22. I'm from Pickens. Where did you have your surgery?
