I too am almost 2 weeks out. I could really relate to all you said. I feel the same. Someone on this site told me - you will have all those foods again, just NOT NOW. I already kinda knew that, but it did help me feel better just to tell myself I was going to eat my favs again later. Also, I am starting to look into a gym membership. Maybe that's what we need to do. I hear those endorphins that are released during exercise can make us feel a whole lot better. Then of course, seeing the weight drop off is going to fill a gap too. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say also. Hang in there! Hugs.

We’re Giving Away a New iPod Touch!
To Celebrate the release of our Mobile apps, we’re giving away a brand-new Apple iPod Touch. It’s a drawing, but we want to reward our active posters, referrers, bloggers, members with completed profiles and new members. The more you participate in VerticalSleeveTalk.com, the better chance you have of winning. Here’s how it works.
    Eligibility and Chances of Winning
Forum members must make at least one post in any forum on VerticalSleeveTalk during the contest period of 30 days from today.
Members must have a completed patient profile.
You can increase your chances of winning by making more forum and blog posts, uploading more photos and referring members.

At the end of the contest period, one of the forum administrators will find all of the eligible forum members – remember, you have to make at least one post and have a completed Gastric Sleeve profile. We’ll make a big spreadsheet with the Username of each member who is eligible, and assign points based on your activities. The more points you have, the better your chances of getting the iPod!

1 point: each forum post and each uploaded photo
2 points: each forum post from our mobile apps and each blog post
    5 points: join a group
10 Points: complete My Surgery, My Surgeon or My Gastric Sleeve Story; upload before and/or after photos
20 points for each successful member referral; and

Girl, haven't encountered anything yet, but I can tell you, those will be fighting words!! LOL! Shoot, what's easy is getting type II diabetes from over eating, getting HB medication, high cholesterol.. and then letting the government pay for my health bills, which consequently means letting the public pay for me to over eat! Yep, that's right.. I said it! It's easy to over eat, it's easy to go for fast food, it easy to blame everyone else on my inability to lose weight...Easy way out my arse! What's SMART is recognizing my issues and dealing with them head on - rather than waffling - doing every diet under the sun and still failing.. and only to wake up years later with every known chronic issue out there related to weight. What's SMART is being there physically, mentally and emotionally for my kids.. Being in a good place to nuture, love and inspire them that all things are possible... OMG... don't get me started.... I can't stand naysayers and anyone that even thinks they are going to get away with saying that to me will regret it... I'll give them the schooling of their life....
