Thanx guy I'm already taking RX iron pills for the anemia but I was starting to get worried because I have 2 more month of weight in's and then I'm submitting for surgery. But this takes my axiety away thank you

Good Morning all. I was wondering for the past two month my doctor has found that my Iron is low I'm post-op and now i'm afraid that my surgeon will not preform the surgery with my iron so low. did anyone post-op have anemia before going into surgery if so did you have any complications?? Thanx for the response.

From what I see on the forum it varies. With my surgeon after I have my 6month, NUT visit, Phyc Evaluation, and the support groups done I see him again that day I get my surgery which will be two weeks from that day.

Yes I'm hoping for begining of october also. The wait is killing me but I won't give up keep me posted if you want add me as a friend. u never know we even might get the same surgery date

My doctor started to count on the first visit I spoke to him about the surgery I started in april I'm doing the 6 month process. so I believe your first visit should be May.

My doctor was non-compliant and I ask my surgeon's coordinator what to do she referred me to a PCP and I love him he cares for his patients like they are family and is helping me through the process.

Please keep us posted on what the allergist said I am pre-op and I have many allergies I was concern of the staple line and if I would be allergic to it but I was told that they are hypoallergenic. It would be interesting to know what your allergist says I'm planing on going to mine and asking before surgery about the staple line.
