  1. Have my first training session at the gym today. I'm excited but Scared!

  3. People are not educated when it comes to how hard you have to work when getting this surgery. I only told people right before I had the surgery. And when someone told me I took the easy way out, I told them I was offended and they do not know what they are talking about. Use this forum and go to support groups for support. That is what I do and it has helped me so much !
  4. The more I healed the more hungry I got too. I use a calorie counter on my phone to keep me on track. It helps me a lot.
  5. I am nervous too. I think in nervous because I'm afraid I will over eat and not know or it won't work. I'm sure we will be fine!
  6. Congrats! I was just banded On the second and the pain from the gas goes away as long as you walk a lot and drink a lot of water ! Good luck! You can do it !

  10. That makes me feel better. I was finally feeling good from the lapband surgery. Which I had a hiatal hernia as well. And now I have this. Just really uncomfortable.
  11. Just found out i have internal Hemorrhoids after 4 weeks post op! Anyone gone through this surgery!? What was the recovery like?
  12. Have Started using Myfitness pal, an ap on my iPhone for a week now and it has helped me so much. I'm 3 weeks post op and it had kept me on track. Also, gives me the freedom of knowing I am doing the right thing and not feeling guilty for eating. It is a free ap !
  13. Don't be afraid of drinking too much, just drink small sips. I kept my drink in my Hand all day. I don't eat jello so it was mostly protein drinks and water.
  14. I Recommend isapure. It is amazing and not milky like all those other protein shakes! I got mine at the vitamin shop. Pricy but worth it!
  15. I was banded 7/2/12 and I am good in the morning but am tired by 2pm!
  16. I was banded July 2 and I feel a thousand times better than the first few week! Walk walk walk ! sleep and drink lots of water! It will pass. I was counting the minutes cause I couldn't wait for the week to go bye. Now I am enjoying my time off work! Good luck! You can do it!!
  17. Mine was dry. I just kept water in my hand and kept drinking a sip every few seconds. It goes away.

  19. How are you feeling? We were banded the same day?
  20. Just be prepared and make sure there is someone to help you get up and down. I will be honest, it was extremely painful and uncomfortable. But I had lots of help which made it easier.
