  1. Hi ladies I am 2 weeks post op and will join you all if you'll have me I am on the mushy stage as well. The first 2 weeks was easy I lost weight no problem. I have stopped losing now which they said was normal All I can do is walking for exercise. I try to get 30 minutes a day. I should lose @ 2 LBS a week in the mushy stage which I just started Tuesday.
  2. Hi All I was banded on Tuesday and all went well they found a hernia as well so they repaired it while in. I am sore but it is tolerable. here are a few suggestions use the breathing tube they give you it will help to control your breathing after surgery and keep the pneumonia away. Use the meds they give to control the pain I did get the gas in my shoulder so that is very uncomfortable walking does help it so move after surgery even for a little walk. Use a pillow over your stomach to cough it helps. I have no hunger at all and have to make sure I get in my liquids. Make a schedule to what you will eat according to you plan and stick to it. Will keep you posted as the days go by. Good luck to all!
  3. I am taking the vitamins and calcium chewables from BJ's Wholesale they were cheaper, and aren't too bad. The Viactiv chews do go stale so be careful. also don't take both together as your body can only absorb so much calcium so I do the vitamin in AM and Calcium PM. I was also told to crush my pills after the banding.
  4. I am also being banded tomorrow and found if I stayed on a plan the liguid diet wasnt so bad I lost 11.8 pounds on it. Try to get on a schedule to help with the hunger.
