I also had to have a Cpap. I got mine a week ago and just now getting use to sleeping with it. I wouldn't think it would delay your surgery date. My surgery date is the 12th and this was scheduled just this week!! Good luck!!

That's great!!! I wanted to do mine sooner but I have a conference I have to attend the last week of July in NOLA and I didn't want to chance not being able to go!

I live in Iuka but having surgery with Dr Pinson in Tupelo! Date set this week for August 12!! So excited!! I did a contract at Baptist in Oxford about twelve years ago! There where some good people there! And we are huge Ole Miss fans!!!

You might try Miralax. U mix it with water and drink every morning. It should help!

My psych eval is next Wed. They said it will be a three hour visit! I cannot image what we are going to talk about.

Had my initial consult with my doctor today! I'm excited. On my way over though I was thinking this could be the best decision I've made or the worse. I truly believe it will be the best!! I'm so ready for a change!!!

I just ordered a sample pack that has several different flavors from chike. Can't wait to try them.

Hey Mississippi guys and gals!! I'm from northeast mississippi. I am going to Dr Pinson on Wed to discuss having VGS.

I know this is an older thread but I was wondering how everyone has been doing. I am scheduled to do initial with Dr Pinson on Wed. I decided to go to him because of it being closer to home for me and I have not heard of anyone having any complications.

My doctor requires a two night stay regardless of pay source. I'm self pay but I appreciate that.

Has anyone here used Dr Pinson in Tupelo? I'm scheduled for initial app next week. Would like to hear from someone and hear their experience.

Hey everyone!! I'm a Mississippi girl too!! I live in Iuka. I have BCBs ins that has the bariatric exclusion so I'm having to pay out of pocket. I considered Mexico but decided I want someone closer if I had complications. I have my initial consult with Dr Pinson this coming Wed. Excited and nervous.

Has anyone tried the fit bit? Which do you like? I've looked at the fitbit flex and fitbit bit one. Not sure which to get.

Jenelle, I have enjoyed reading your journey so far. Wishing you the best of luck. I'm hoping to have surgery in May. I go next week to see the surgeon. I hope I have an easy time like you. I'm not really worried about pain, but more so of having nausea and vomiting. Maybe it will all be good though. Getting excited and ready for a change!!

I am hoping I can bypass the psych eval or shop for someone else. That's just to pricey for me.

I have to two two weeks high protein low carb and then two weeks clear liquid. I haven't gotten my surgery date yet, but I'm doing the high protein low carb now.
