  2. I am in the same boat. Gaining 10 lbs back but worst of all inches! It's easy to get back into bad habits when you feel so good! I thought "oh a soda wouldn't hurt me here and there" or "ice cream goes down so easy, ill just have a cup" Since all this I started taking ACE an all natural diet suppressant basically for me but it has helped me get back on track to eating my 6 oz and drinking more water. I wish you the best. We are getting back on track together.

Maybe an egg in the morning, need an idea for lunchs, and want to do a shake at supper because of work schedule. Some ideas please?

  8. I am in the same boat as you. I can eat more then I am suppose to. I try to measure things out and eat just what I am suppose to but then I am hungry within a couple hours. We will get this under control its just frustrating:)
  9. I didn't have to but after the fill I had to do soft foods for 24 hours. Not sure thats any help tho....
  10. I had the most misrerable night last night. I have ate salad since surgery and didnt have a problem. However it was iseberg salad and last night I ate romane. I threw up and salad is NOT fun to throw up!! Guess I will learn this about different foods as I go!
  11. How is your eating habits? Are you getting full? I go for my second fill Wednesday and things have looked up since the first but I am rewady for my second.
  12. I was in the same boat with you. I did call and get an early appt to get band filled (about 2 weeks before first scheduled appt). I get hungry about two hours after I eat now. Keep it up...this time will pass before you know it. And the weight should be coming off fast for you?

  14. I have to say this is harder then what it seems. The addiction to food is so difficult to overcome. Easy to gain acess to and its Legal!!! The more I am trying to eat healthy the more I think how fast food joints need to have only healthy choices. I have made some bad choices the past week. Even if it was one or two bad choices, I felt guilt. I guess I must just keep truckn' and not give up.....fingers crossed!!
  15. Thanks for the comments. To LovetheNewMe, your right, the protein shakes between meals is in my program until I hit my goal weight. What kind of Protein Bars do you eat? I cant wait to get in my green zone. Food is not having any trouble going down at this time but I take bites the size of my pinky nail and chew chew chew!! I think I am just scared to push it. Thanks for your encouragment:) I was down 3 lbs this week...Yay!!

  18. I had my fill done and the nurse said to eat the 6 oz three times a day and advance my diet now. So I came home and measured out 6 ounces in little bowls. I guess I never realized how much 6 ounces was. The piece of meat was something my husband would take in one bite. I decided for my breakfast I would eat the egg because bagles are a little hard to swollow down(but a good source of protein). For lunch I would do the 4oz of meat and 2 oz of vegs. And for supper have the full 6 oz of meat because I work evenings and want my energy.I really need to get back into the protein shakes now that I can open the container without a gag or two I really haven't been two hungry except when I have to work and get home late. More then anything its in my head because I use to eat when I get home. Bad habits die hard!!
  19. Thats Awesome!!!

Today was my first fill. It wasnt bad at all. I had mixed feelings (mostly from the blogs I have read) would it hurt...would it be to tight...or get hungry between meals???? All questions I would ask myself. The nurse took it easy on me, 2cc in for now. I ate soft foods right after and had no problems but did not eat very much. I am happy with things today:) Weight loss was a plus to:)

  26. I think it is great you share your story. If anyone is considering Lapband they need to hear it all. I was just banded and have not had any issues but I applaude you for standing up and being on to tell it all! I wish you the best of luck and a fast recovery!!
