  2. I noticed I felt more like myself at 5 weeks and at 8 weeks I'm feeling really good! Congrats on your weight loss!
  3. Research says about 80%of type 2 diabetics will leave the hospital not needing any more medication. I am struggling with high blood sugars post op but my surgeon doesn't seem concerned. He said for some it will take a few weeks and some a few months. I am three weeks out tomorrow and still taking metformin but less than I was pre op.
  4. GNC has a new lean shake and I love the strawberry and vanilla bean favors!
  5. I made my mom come with me to hold my hand and it wasn't a big deal at all. The skin around it was really burny-itchy so it was just that I felt.

  7. I will be two weeks out tomorrow so it hasn't been an issue yet. I am lacto ovo so I am planning on lots of eggs, cottage cheese and Greek yogurt. I've been a vegetarian for two years but I do find myself really craving a McDonalds chicken sandwich!
  8. I didn't realize sleepers had dumping syndrome! Has anyone experienced that?
  9. Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your daily diet, too. I am one week out and trying to figure out how I will get protein in once I switch some shakes for mushies.
  10. I was sleeved on 4/16/12 and I'd love to hear how you all are feeling?! I'm feeling more like me for the first time today. Not so weak and disinterested in everything. I have only been taking short 5 minute walks but reading some other posts makes me feel like I may be taking it too easy. How about some of the other 16ers?
