  1. I have a protein shake with 1 or 2 scoops every morning. So I don't get bored, I switch up by adding different fruits.
  2. There is hope. Pray all goes well for you!
  3. This is normal. You may not lose every weight every week. Have you checked your inches?
  4. Hello and welcome. You may want to start a new thread and ask your question. You probably get more responses to your question.
  5. I was banded on 4/3/12. My largest weight was 291. Today, I weigh 227 for a total lost of 64 pounds. One of my coworkers told me last week "you look like a different person". I didn't think my looks change that much. I personally didn't see a big change. Well, yesterday that coworker bought in an old picture of me from our work picnic from 6/2011. I didn't take many photos of me back then so I don't have a lot for comparison. OMG, I was in total SHOCK!!!!! I looked like a totally different person. I really needed to see that. That really encouraged me. I don't ever ever ever what to be that size again. I am soooo happy with my decision to have the Lap band. It does work. You just gotta work the tool!!!!!
  6. Wow, only 3 months post op. Just image have GOOD you are gonna look in 12 months. You go girl!!!! 2 snaps!
  7. Any weight loss is a great accomplishment. Please don't rush it. Your body needs time to heal. You are on your way. I was feeling the some way 6 months post op. But I had to remember that I didn't gain the weight over night, so I can't expect to lose it overnight. Since all bodies are different, we lose weight differently. I had to stop comparing my weight lost to everyone else's lost. You had this surgery because you want to lose weight and you WILL. April 3 is my 1 year Banniversary. One thing the Lap band as taught me is PATIENCE. Hang in there, it does get better.
  8. Thank you Jean for this article. It was well stated.
  9. Love your positive attitude. I pray all goes well. Keep us posted.
  10. My insurance company paid 100%. The $750 was an additional surgeon fee that included 18 months of free unlimited access to the fitness center (that I don't even use because it's over a hour away). I didn't mind paying the extra fee because my surgeon is the best in my area. I am very pleased with my surgeon and his staff.
  11. My friend paid $2500 the year before me.My additional fee was $1500 but it was a special for $750 for that month.
  12. I had to have my surgery postponed from Feb to April. The time really flew by.
  13. I flew 4 months after surgery no complaints.
  14. Looking good. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see more pics.
  15. Congrats on starting over. I know for me a fill of .5 makes a huge difference. But that is why it's called "adjustments". A little fill just may do the trick.
  16. You are on your way!!!!
  17. You look much younger
  18. Congrats!!!! I pray that you will be out of the hospital soon.
  19. Congrats on your weight loss. Good luck on year 2.
