  1. This is an update. I am 10 weeks out from surgery and have lost 29 pounds so far. I need to add more exercise and maybe that will speed up my weight loss. I'm going to add some resistance to my workout.
  2. I don't have that, but certain days I can't eat much or I will vomit. Other days I have no problems. It's just random. I don't lose like most of the other people on this site. I'm 55 and have 95 pounds to lose. It has been 10 weeks and I have only lost 29 pounds. Alot of the other people have lost over 40 pounds.
  3. You are doing great with your weight loss! I have lost 29 pounds so far and it has been 10 weeks. You had your surgery a week before me. I'm sorry about your loss, but to have gone through the surgery and to have gotten this far you are a strong person! Take it one day at a time. Start taking your vitamins, maybe with your protein drink. Are you exercising? That is my downfall. You can do this! I will pray for you!
  4. Hi everyone, I am 55 and had my surgery Feb. 8 in Mexico. I have lost 23 lbs. so far. I haven't had much problems. You just can't eat but 2-3 Tbs. of food at a time. Sometimes it does seem like you will get full pretty fast. I am retired. I try and drink 2 protein drinks a day to get enough protein in. The younger people seem to lose weight alot faster so it is nice to find a site with people my age.
  5. I had my gastric sleeve surgery Feb. 8 2012 in Mexico. I can only eat like 4 TBs. of food at a time. I can have a couple of crackers with a little peanut butter on them and a couple bites of applesauce. I've had alot of soup. I started eating some low fat refried beans with a few baked chips.Still need to drink a couple of protein shakes a day to try and get all my protein in. I have lost 23 lbs. so far. I am 55 years old.
  6. How much have you lost so far? I am six weeks out and have lost 21 lbs.
  7. Yea, I gained 11 lbs. after surgery. It took 1 whole week just to lose the fluid weight. I'm in week 6 and have lost 21 lbs. so far. I need to lose a total of 95 lbs. I'm 55 years old so I don't think I will lose as fast as some of the younger people. Now I seem to lose 1 lb. every 3 or 4 days.
  8. Oh, I feel for you. I gained 11 lbs. after my surgery the first week. They said it was because of the IV. I started losing after that. Keep your chin up. I still will gain 2lbs. then lose a pound and back and forth.
  9. I'm six weeks out from surgery. I've lost 21 lbs. and I'm losing like 1 lb. every 3 to 4 days now. Not as fast as some of the other people I have seen on youtube. I will keep plugging along and hopefully it will speed up. It seems like such a small amount for the little bit of food I'm eating. Starting at 250 lbs. with a total of 95 lb. total weight loss goal.
