1. Thanks Cha cha, for some reason getting the script is the hardest part. How are you doing?
2. I'm so proud of myself, I got a prescription for anti-depresants. After that last episode I'm afraid I'll have more if I don't do something about it now, when I'm still healthy enough, mentally, to get my self to the doc.
3. I asked my doctor at my 2 week post-op appointment, he said it was fine to have one, but I probably would feel drunk in one drink. I have had a couple drinks, just a couple socially the past few weeks. Thursday will be 5 weeks post-op. I am a big drinker, well was, and don't feel anything but full and guilty after an adult beverage. I decided I'm going to wait 40 days until I go to the bahamas before another one. I have been finding now that I'm sleeved when I give in to myself the food/flavor sucks so the tiny bit I take in is enough to satisfy my mind and stop cravings. In the past though on a diet giving in ment opening the flood gate.
4. Thanks m2g this is my new favorite drink.
5. Okay I'm seriously thinking about putting the money down for a ninja. How much did you pay? Where from? What do you do with it? Do you like or not like any other brands or kinds of choppers? Thanks
6. That's so exciting. I bought a pair of pants today, baby blue skinny jeans. They don't fit yet, but I'm hoping they will by the time I go to the bahamas in June. Definitely not a 6, but you go girl!
7. I do a short, skinny, cinnamon dolce. Short isn't on the menu, it's one size down from tall.
8. I successfully completed my 5k. I walked and finished in 1 hour and 3 minutes. I hope to increase my time at next month's 5k. Thanks
9. I'm wondering what other people are hearing. My doc and nut say 3 meals no snacking.
10. Where do u buy the sugar free kahula syrup?
11. I'm 4weeks post op -20 lb. boughie 34
12. I'm 4weeks post op -20 lb. boughie 34
13. Everyone loses at different rates. I know it's hard but don't compare yourself to others. Studies show those who lose weight slowly are less likely to gain it back. Plus losing slowly is better for your skin. If your bothered, you could always pump up your workouts and lower calories, but maybe see what doc says first. You're still a loser! Good luck.
14. I need some motivation. Right now doc said I can walk. I try to schedule walks with friends. I'm walking a 5k Saturday for autism. I need to be walking everyday for longer periods. How do you motivate yourself?
15. Congrats misstx. Maybe tomato soup is too acidic right now. I also had some aches and pains here and there. They've slowly dwindled.
16. Thank you for sharing. I felt decent after wards, just tired, but this evening is something else. My emotions are ridiculous. Maybe I had a decent recovery but my mental state is the struggle. I'm sorry your group was mean.
17. Kbs- thanks for sharing. I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm glad you didn't loose your job, maybe that's why some people take off months. My 3rd day I cried. I've felt fine emotionally since, but today is a struggle. I'm hoping a good sleep will help, but i'm so hot! you're 2 weeks ahead of me, when did your crying start and stop?
18. I'm okay. I still feel really tired. Today was the first day I actually had energy after work, but I had an episode. I started crying for no reason. I had to calm myself down so I wouldn't hyperventalate*. It's stupid things that shouldn't overwhelm me, I'm really hot (99 degrees in Vegas today), my house isn't clean, my sister re-arranged everything in my house, I have gum on my shoe. Such stupid events that are controlling me right now. I looked up psychiatrists that are covered by insurance. I have a history of depression but have been off meds for a while, guess I need to get back on. I just feel so uptight, I don't know what to do to stop these tears. I'm so hot and a.c. isn't working.
19. Ask the doctor's office. My scheduler was planning on driving me until my friend's husband decided to take off work. It would have been my only way to get surgery.
20. At two weeks out I started using Vitamin e. I try to use it twice a day. They are healing nicely. 2 days out 19 days out I'm pleased with the healing so far.
21. Yeah, the pinhead response kills me.
22. Ahhh, don't play that mental game with yourselves. It is so easy to weigh yourself 20 times a day, but what does that do? For me I start to feel worse and worse and begin to obsess. I told myself I can weigh myself once a week, but if I go to the doctor that's the weigh in for the week. I didn't weigh myself for 2 weeks after surgery, I waited for my doctor visit. Even though it was after work with clothes. Last week I weighed myself. This week, since my nut's office is at my doc's office I'm going to get weighed there. I know it's hard, but I can't allow myself to obsess over the scale. I want my clothes bigger, then I'll believe.
23. Do you have a support group? Give it to someone there.
24. Love bug, that's how I felt. I didn't know when my bladder was full. I'm a teacher and can only pee at 8:30 am, 11:10 a.m, and 2:30 .I have a camel bladder and need to in my profession, but I used to go after school. Now I notice I don't pee until 4 and that's usually atleast 24 oz after my lunch break.
