  1. 6 months and it was more delicious than I remember it being (:
  2. It's tough to adjust to and can be draining physically and mentally. Eventually you'll be able to eat anything and everything, and go back to the "open the door, nothing looks good, close the door. Open the door again like something delicious appeared, still nothing. Go to the cabinet, nothing. Back to the fridge!" Lol hard because you knowwwww you have to eat for protein and whatnot, but you're not really hungry. Oi vey!
  3. Thank you George! I'm down from that now too and can eat just about everything under the sun. 157#, size 10/Medium now! Don't mind the glasses. I was being a dork with my sisters hipster hello kitty glasses lol
  4. I've def still got my curves!!! At 246 (top) I was an xl-xxl/42B with a 22/xxl bottom. I still have a 10" dif between my waist to hips. 6 1/2 months later I'm 158 s-m/34C with 10/M bottom!!
  5. That dag Adam and Eve taught us to be bunnies!!!!
  6. Top is last October at 246, bottom left is about 2 months post op at approx 200, bottom right is about 6 months post op (about 2 weeks ago) at about 161! Currently 158
  7. My sex drive is bipolar. One day I'll be craving it like no tomorrow, the next I don't want to hear so much as a peep from any living creature let alone to be touched. Ughhhh!
  8. I knew, I read about them. Didn't take it seriously... Live and learn!!!
  9. Don't get me wrong, I want to exercise!!!!! First things first to tone my saggy bottom. It wasn't saggy when I was bigger! Also, when does your brain and your eyes get on the same page? I know I've lost a lot of weight, but when I look in the mirror I still see fat frump..
  10. We don't know how/why I had the leak. On of the staples in the top most part just kinda came out. Not sure if it was faulty, a really bad cough I had (I doubled over it hurt so bad) or what. I do know, when I started getting nausea all the time, my but said try dry salty things like crackers or pretzels chewed to mush (as I had terrible acid). That was def the worst idea EVER. Haven't had a crunchy pretzel since and even looking at them makes me go >.< lol I've noticed since, my immune system is shot so far this winter
  11. M 6 months out and will lose up to about 3 lbs a week lately. I feel like I'm eating all day and don't work out. I want to join the gym, but I'm also scared of losing too much. I'm 159 right now, 9# away from my drs goal for me (though I think I'll probably get myself to 130). Also, I can only eat about 3/4 cup or 1/2 a sandwich or a whole banana (slowly). Is this normal? How much could y'all eat? What should I do?
  12. That's what did it for me; I have been gaining about 20-30# the past couple years (no change in diet, just done eat ENOUGH on a normal schedule) and my knees and back started killing me. I don't want to end up 300+ lbs with a knee replacement by 40 :/ inbox me if you ever need someone to talk to.
  13. Doin good (: 84# in 6 months, you're almost alway to me in a few WEEKS!!!!! that's amazing!!! Are you going to the holiday party?
  14. The weeks up to eating solid ( and for me it was 3-4 months due to complications!!) SUCKEEDDDDDD!!!!!!! Craving EVERYTHING! Now that I can eat everything, I sit looking at the pantry going "ughhhhh. Idk! Nothing looks good!" lol
  15. Ohhhhh like test wise? Ctscan, leak tests and full blood work (I had other complications as well). I got tired just walking across the room, heart started racing like crazy and ex fiancé kept trying to tell me calm down it was just nerves. My arse!
  16. Started getting sick to the point I couldn't hold anything down and I wanted to sleep 24/7... With my head in a bucket :/
  17. Don't fret!!!! You'll do great!!!!! Fellow BJ sleeves here... May 16, now 84# down. Friends and family said that about me too, my BMI was barely 40. Gotta do what's right for you!
  18. When I started getting really sick and couldn't eat or drink without getting sick, I chewed and spit in the hospital parking lot before I went into the er because everything was tasting like vomit after swallowing it, even my spit. One of those apple pie glazed pastries. Best tasting thing EVERRRRRR (funny enough, I've always hated them lol) that was right before I found outbi had a leak. At least you don't have a smell aversion... When I was in the hospital for my leak, ex fiancé would bring up food and I'd rather have died, the smell devoured me and made me nauseas!
  19. Same as ^^^. And honestly, if it wasn't for her I don't know how I would have mentally gotten through it!!! I had my stent removed and told the leak had healed in August. Nowadays, i feel phenomenal and can eat ANYthing!!!! Just in limited portions, maybe about 3/4-1cup depending on what I'm eating and how fast
  20. You're looking great!!!!!! YOU LOOK SO MUCH YOUNGER!!!!!!!!!!
  21. A lot of girls get some sort of discharge or full blown period right after. Mines is ALL sorts of off. It ended a week before my surgery, I got it a few days after my surgery, missed a month and a week or so, got it full charge on and off about 3 weeks, the next time on time, missed about a month and a half (scared the day lights out of my dr lol) got it reeeeeeally bad after that, and haven't gotten it since. That was about 2ish months? since I guess? I'm def not preggo! I'm just enjoying no cramps or hassle
  22. RawrrAshleex3 replied to lil lee's topic in Soft (stage 3)
Sushi was my favorite food ever!! I was afraid I'd have to give it up.. At 4 months my nut said I could try it but make sure I was good with tastes n stuff to make sure I wouldn't start hating it. I tried it about 5 months in (at 6 today) and yuuuuuummy! I do however take half the rice off and I can eat about 3 thicker sliced in a 'meal'
