WHAT AN EXCELLENT AND THERAPEUTIC TOPIC !!! I will be sleeved on May 14, (mothers day gift to me).
    1. Be relieved of the sweating from under my breasts in the hot weather which causes painful irritation and odor and the constant need to put cornstarch under them which makes a mess.
    2. See body parts without a mirror (do not mean my feet.....)
    3. Regain self-esteem, and relieve depression.
    4. Eliminate the words "I WISH" when looking at fashion
    5. Join over eaters anonymous (OA) for support for the emotional eating (it will not go away just because of the surgery, it will resurface if we do not address it).
    6. Last but not least... Become healthy by respecting food, longevity, and for once life being about me.
    Love you girls!

I am 4 weeks from surgery and I am constantly thinking of things I want to do that I haven't been able to because of my weight. I'm sure this has been posted before, but for us newbies, lets keep track of the things we want to be able to do after we have lost our weight....
    I want to...
Buy underwear & bras at Victorias Secret instead of Lane Bryant

you should have your primary physcian follow you post op. most are not happy that you went to mexico. But they will get over it if they want you as a patient and if they dont then find a new doctor who will.. I had to do that with on of my doctors..I think many feel inferior to people going over to Mexico for procedures because it is cheaper and in my opinion much better medical care that if the cat got out of the bag to more and more people, then many would start going there on a regular basis..Our doctors here are well aware of the patients going to mexico I think that alot of them feel some sort of threat..and I know alot of doctors that believe in it because they know about all the beaurucratic BS that makes our health care system the way that it is.

I was sleeved last Thursday Feb 16 in Tijuana Mexico by Dr fernando Garcia and his awesome team..There are not enough adjectives to describe my expirience Dr Garcia his assisstant Dr. Velazco and anethesiologist Dr. Cabrerra are the finest team of doctors I have ever been placed with. I was very reluctant on going to Mexico(as I have a quite extenstive medical history) and now I don't want to go to doctors here in the US. The nurses were very kind, compassionate and competent I never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for anything..They even give you an internist to follow you during your stay whom gives you a thouragh exam I cannot remember her name but she was very sweet. The hospital is so so clean the smell of pinesol was everywhere. Their equipment is older than here in the US but it all works and does the job needed... I cannot believe that I had NO pain my biggest issue was nausea which they aggressivly treated the first few hours post op are the worst and after I did not even feel as if I had surgery . I am posting because I want anyone who is having had a hard time deciding on Mexico or US . I would rather be there than here for any medical treatment..I cannot vouch for any doctors other than the one's involved in my care but Dr. Garcia and his entire team are a doctors that I would Highly recommend to anyone especially my family members..feel free to PM if any questions
