Ok so I am officially 2 1/2 months out and I have lost 34 pounds, I know it's good and all but I thought I would have lost more by now being that I can hardley eat more than a few bites of anything, any reasons why this is happening, and what can I do to pick up this slow pace. Open to suggestions...
  2. It took about 5 weeks for the pain to subside. I am a little over 2 months out and I've lost about 34 pounds so far. In my case It still hurts to eat, especially if I don't chew my food properly or if I eat to fast. Hang in there it will get easier.

  6. Was sleeved in March 16, and I've lost 25 pounds, I thought I would have lost more than that but I will take it... How is everyone else doing? I still have a hard time eating and having problems getting on all my fluids...
  7. I'm a month out and finding eating to be such a chore, I can't seem to get all my protein in and the shakes are getting old. I still cannot eat much. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing or has been through this? Advice welcomed.

  13. I'm ten days out (sleeved on March 16) and I have this soreness on my right side, it hurts when I stretch or take a really deep breath... When will the soreness subside? I'm over this already...

Well I am Hispanic and everyone knew I was having surgery, I went to the hospital with my husband, my children, my parents, and my best friend, oh yeah my sister showed up too before I went in... I was visited by lots of family and friends in the next couple days after. I don't understand the whole secrecy thing only those near and dear were told about the surgery and which is still alot of people, but the outpouring of support has been great

I started Puréed foods today, I have no Problems getting my liquids down and protein, had some Mozerella cheese today and some turkey, (small tiny bites) went down fine with no issues, I'm chewing it down to nothing before swallowing... the thought of Purée really turns me off... Is this okay? I'm only a week out?
