I am two week post op and having a heck of a time with food right now. My doc said that I can go full liquid and eggs as long as I chew them up well. I really thought that I was a big girl and could eat other things then what the dr said I could and now I am really paying for it. I am back to Clear liquids for now. My pouch is very sore and very gassey. I am not sure what I can take to help with the gas? Any suggestions would be great. I can tolerate yougurt but not so well.

Hello I am Sarah and I started this process over two years ago. I first started with insurance then lost my job and went to the whole Mexico thing. Research so much that I thought I knew everything however that was not true LOL. I am now back to the insurance process in the USA and almost done witht he approval process. This has been very stressful "HURRAY UP AND WIAT" LOL I have my date set for 12/31/13 what a way to bring in the new year. I am really scard that I am going to fail this process and be fat for the rest of my life. Everyone say that I will do fine but I just am worried... Does anyone else have this same fear?

I am having my surgery March 15 with Dr Cabrera in TJ I am so nervious. I got all of the paperwork and it states in there to make sure you bring extra money in case there are any other procedure that need to be done. I am so affaid that I am going to get down there an then they are not going to let me leave until I pay. Is anyone having there surgery the same time and with the same dr?

I am getting my sleeve done with Dr Cabrera on March 15 I cant find to much on this dr any thought on him?

I am being sleeved on aug 17 and am a waitress as well how long do u think I should take off? I said a week but now I Am thinking two

I am schduled with DR. A as well in Aug I have done tons of research and found out that he is the best. There is another DR Garcia that people talk very highly of but I did not like the terms of his contract that he had and that he charges more money for the fatter you are. You will be in great hands

Ok i have to know how many women have had the sleeve and as they are dropping weight they are dropping cup sizes as well. I really like my boobie the way that they are now and they would look great on a slimmer body but I am pretty sure they are not going to stay that way. Any one with the same concerns as me?

i have the same concerns i am insulin dependant and on a insulin pump and I have the same concerns that my blood sugars will go to low and I cannot get enough to eat to get them to come up. I would love any feedback from other diabetic out there that has had the sleeve.

Ok so I got my date all set I am going to Mexico with Dr Alazaman. I am supper excited but I am so scarded about my blood sugars. I am on a insulin pump and I am not sure how this is going to effect me. I am going to talk to my doctor on Friday so hopefully they can tell me how to manage it.

4 pounds in 6 days omg I would love to do that. Give it a chance and dont get discourged that is why we are all the way that we are because we would get discourged with ourselves and give up. Hang in there you will be just fine.

I would defently say it is a blood surgar probelm. I am diabetic and that is how I get if my blood surgar are to low. I get like this drunk feeling almost and then very dizzy. My eyes dont go wacky but some peoples do. i would call them right a way just to make sure you are ok. If you are not getting in your protein and water then your blood sugars could be dropping.

I have to be on a liver shrinking diet for a month before the surgery so for 2 weeks i will be on low carb high protein and then for 2 weeks before my surgery I have to be on clear liquids. I think I am going to die. But you know it will be all worth it.

I have went through chemo and total know what the shock is all about one min you have a full head of hair and the next day you are bald. I hope that it is not that bad. I was at least some hair on my head

I just order some of the Unjury product hopeing that it takes good.I am going to try it before I have my surgery and see how much weight I can loose before hand.

My hair falls out like that now before surgery, I am wondering if it will be worse after my surgery and if there is anything that I can start doing now to try and keep it from falling out any more than it all ready does. I have ALOT of hair so loosing some would not be to bad but i dont want it all to come out.

I know what you mean. I am getting my surgery in June and I all ready feel that way. I look at food and I am like omg I dont know if I can give you up. But then I tell myself this is for the better and I AM GONA BE ONE HOT MAMA when this is all done and over. Hang in there you are going through the normal process you will be ok. Just take a big breath

i am hoping to have my done on June 18 but I am still waiting on the funding to come through so i can set my date. Are you going to go with Dr ALverez or with another doctor?

I have heard not so much negative about them but that the clinic is small and there is not much room there. They have also said that the recover home is very loud and cramped. Other than that it seems to have a pretty positive outcome. I am having my with Dr Garcia through alighterme.com for the 5000.00 you have two nights in the hospital (actual hospital) then you have two nights in the hotel which is super nice. You can travel with one person and they can stay with you at the hospital and also at the hotel for no additional cost. What i liked is that it is not in a clinic but in a hospital just in case something goes wrong you have everything right there. If you are traveling alone there will be a rep with you all the time from the time that you get to the airport until you are back at the airport once you are done. They have people that will drive you to go shopping or just around so you can site see if you want. They have a rep that will be in Mexico along with one here in the states that will assist you. I would not be worried about traveling alone. You want to make sure that you have a passport or a passport card so you can travel in to mexico (that is required now) When are you looking to go...
