  1. I'm not sure about GNC but I know for sure you can get it at Walmart.
  2. My goodness pumpkin*. Lol. I get it from Walmart for less than $20.
  3. I use Pure Protein vanilla powder for the pumkin shake.
  4. What is a nectar shake if you don't mind me asking?
  5. Peanut butter to a chocolate shake. Not vanilla. Not sure that would be good. Lol.
  6. Today I added a little bit of peanut butter to my shake and it was pretty good. I also added a couple drops of sugar free vanilla syrup. Not sure if that helped much or just made me feel better. Lol. Tomorrow I plan to blend some frozen mango into a vanilla shake and see how that goes.
  7. That was my hope. My vanilla shakes are gross too. I can usually handle the chocolate ones but not the vanilla. I'm going to try some different recipes over the next few days.
  8. My phone screws ups some words. Lol. I meant meal an protein shake.
  9. Started my liquid/ 1 lean Neal a day diet 10 very long days ago. This morning when I started to make my Protein share I suddenly had an epiphany. I used 1 cup of skim milk 1 tsp of Splenda 1 scoop of pure protein vanilla flavor 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice A little vanilla extract. It was AMAZING! I'll post more recipes as I come up with them. Y'all should do the same to get us out of the old boring shake routine!
  10. Do you mean diet wise? I started my liquid diet on the 26th of April. 2 protein shakes a day and two 1/2 portion meals. It's not too bad so far. What about you?
  11. I'm may 10th too!
  12. My ore op appointment it tomorrow. Any idea what it entails?
  13. Just found out my surgery is scheduled for May 10th! I'm so excited but scared too. I have a couple of Questions for the ladies here... Did any of you experience any major changes in your breasts? I have always been 'top heavy' even at a young age. I'm just wondering if that will change. Also does your husband or parter treat you differently now that you're losing weight? My husband is amazing and I was far when we got married so I know he loves me anyway. I don't doubt him. I just wonder how they react to this 'new you' Thanks in advance
  14. So I went and I felt really silly after! It was pretty simple. Other than the 300 question packet I had to fill out. Apparently that's all I have to wait for. I just have to set a surgery date! Which will apparently be soon since they told be to go ahead and start the liquid diet!
  15. I'm new here and to the whole idea of Lap band surgery too and so far it just seems too easy to be true. I have bcbs of tx and all they required was a nutrition visit, a psych evaluation, and te regular medical tests. I feel like a problem is going to arise any time now. Basically what I'm asking is this: What can I expect from the psych eval? I'm using true results in Houston if that helps. Does anyone else have bcbs of tx? Was it reall as easy as it seems so far?
