  1. U look beautiful. And I love ur hair!
  2. I remember when I first started working out with my trainer. We would have to run to the stop sign and back. The sign was literally 1/2 a block away. When I first started I would die before I even got there and walk back slowly becuz I couldn't breathe and wanting to throw up like I ran a marathon. Lol. But I kept pushing and now I can do it several times over running like I should and when I get back I am ready for the next Excercise instead of laying all over the floor trying to catch my breath. So my advice take it slow. Add a little bit of time each time. And push for it( meaning even if u dont think u can do that extra thirty push ur self even if u end up a breathless heap on the floor) Even just 30 seconds. It adds up and eventually u will be doing that 30-45 min. :-)
  3. Does anyone use the ones for the arms?? Do u think that one is helping??
  4. I Heard compression garments can help with loose skin. For those that do use them,How soon did u start using them after surgery?? How soon for the type that goes over the stomach?? When do u wear them (all day, all night, when excercising)? And to those who have used them do u think that they actually helped??
  5. Hi and welcome , I am excited to get on the losers bench and get some results. I cant wait to not be tired all the time too. I hope ur insurance gets approved quickly. keep us all posted and good luck.
  6. Lol that's what I thought. I just have to think that this will be the last time I will be "uncomfortable" on a plane because of my size. I will ask for one as soon as I get on the flight.
  7. R u allowed to take the extendor off the plane?? If so that's exactly what I am going to do!!
  8. I am flying from Tampa to San Diego too and This is exactly my question. My surgery is in July and I am already stressed about this. What airline did u finally choose. What was ur experience if u did.
  9. I am 5'10 320 lbs., thank u for answering. I will ask for the extender as soon as I board as u did. There are no non stop flight:-( so I think that's the best I can do other that pray for an empty seat between me and my mom (she's a big girl too). I can't believe of all things to worry about this is what I am most worried about.
  10. Ok so I am looking to book my flight from Tampa to San Diego and its stressing me out so bad. I am not worried or stressed over the actual operation but the thought of the flight stresses me out so bad!! The thing that stresses me out about it is being embarrassed (I am very self conscious) to have to ask for the seat belt extender. Or the "what ifs" what if I overcrowd the person next to me?? It's a long flight. Or what if they tell me I can't fly unless I buy another seat. Or what if everything is fine withthe flight but the person next to me is rude. I wish I could afford to buy an extra seat but my mother insist on accompanying me so I am already buying two tickets. Does anyone have any advice?? Or know of a cheaper airline. Or an airline with roomier seats?? something??
  11. I am going end of July too. What dr. Did u choose??
  12. My insurance doesn't cover it. So I am off to Mexico. I am scheduled for July because I have to save the money for it. It seems really far away but it will come soon and I am working my A$$ off to save it. Lol. It's a life changing operation. And I know all this suffering and working extra hours and being super extra poor for a few months will be sooo worth it when the date gets here. I heard that some drs. Down there have payment options and maybe in the states as well but in mexico like dr. Kelly has some type of in house financing and dr Almanza ( the one I am going to) has layaway. Lol. I thought that one was funny when I first heard it but hey it's working for me. Anyways keep trying and I am sure u will find something that works for u. :-)
  13. Hi all I am getting my sleeve in JULY with Dr. Mario Almanza in Tijuana. Is anyone else going to him in July??
  14. I Thought I was the only one. And I am 34. But this is a scary thing and I want to go into surgery with my mind at ease knowing IF anything were to happen everything was taken care of.
  15. Where is this dr Garcia and does he still do the in house financing??
