  1. I'm 3 weeks post op and I had to buy a new bra ...I was a 50 DD and now I'm a 48C it was nice but I'm afraid that they are going to disappear lol
  2. I agree my main reason to moving to new foods was for the protien...I refuse to loose my hair

  5. Hey everyone I'm 2 weeks out and I'm stalled...I'm not allowed to start excersising until week 3 so I'm wondering if that may be doing it...I was allowed to move to blends like 3 weeks prior to what they told me...and I do like the mashed potatoes :)and the scrambled eggs
  6. I haven't had any issues with sugary items... Not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet
  7. I actually blended the cheesy chicken brocoilli casserole I made for my family tonight...it looked like baby food but wasn't half bad...I did still chew it I only got s couple of bites down and was done...guess I'll be eating that for a whole lol
  8. Fabulous! I saw my dietitian today and she said I can move to blends next week...how long did you have to chew it?

Well they took my staples out yesterday in the er cuz that's where my surgeon met me after telling me to get up there...( he was afraid I might be leaking me drain has been out putting dark brown fluid almost like someone put coca cola in my bulb when I'm sleeping...) tests came back done and they said they will take the drain out tomorrow ) on a plus note I did make it all day with out pain killers or baby Tylenol
  11. WHat does it feel like to have the staples and drain removed? I'm a bit of a whimp and I have 26 staples:(
  12. Am having this gurgling in my stomach it is really annoying ...has anyone else had this problem? When does it end?

Thanks ya I'm able to get more and more liquids down every day...it hurts really bad if I take to big of a sip on accident, kind of like massive cramps...and they kill...I'm scared cuz it hurts just like the day of surgery ...he also fixed a hernia when he was in there so that might be why I hurt ..thanks for listening to me
  14. I was sleeved in 4/2 and they are removing my drain on 4/12 ...I was sleeved in Vermont
  15. M supposed to start full liquids today and I'm terrified..I'm less than a week out of surgery...anyone get scared before full liquids?
  16. Thanks everyone! I gained 10 lbs it was horrible I can't wait for the pain to be better...I have been up for walks a couple times in the last 2days but I seem to get to a 9 or 10 after I get done with a walk sorry if I make no sense or spell wrong the just gave me some meds
  17. I am going home with my drain in and they will remove that along with my 26 stitches next Thursday I'm nervous about the staples coming out and the drain too

I'm still in the hospital...the doc wanted to keep me another day cuz the just pulled me off the pump this am...and I'm still needing breakthrough pain meds...they are crushing my meds and mixing them in water...so most of my intake is medication...my husband was able to stay with me until today when they moved me in with a room mate...I had my own private room till today...I have been really tired..,and my Bp has been really low until tonight, but here's hoping that I can go home tomorrow or the next day...I'm so glad we are all doing well with no major complications

Hey everyone I was sleeved on Monday at 8 am...I'm still in the hospital due to the amount of pain I'm having...and the strokes hurt really bad...it does feel like everyone else said, like period cramps and a thousand sit ups that I wasn't ready for...I am so glad I had this forum so I knew about the cough pillow and gas x strips...they have saved me...the only thing in concerned with is I am weighing in at 10 l s more than I was when I got here
  20. Know everyone's pain tolerance is different but I was hoping that some people who have been sleeved already could tell me their experiences with the pain that comes with this surgery..I have never had children so I can't even base it off childbirth lol...I go in Monday

  22. HEy guys! My husband is freaking out...he is concerned that I'm eating the wrong cream soups...does the cream soup have to be fat free? I like the cream of potato soup I strain the potatoe chuncks out, but it doesn't say fat free, so my husband won't let me eat it...I'm going to call my NUT tomorrow but to ease my belly I'd like to know...thanks
