  1. Thanks guys. Some great ideas. I'm gonna try Jac3d sounds like this drink would be best before a workout:)
  2. Can anyone recommend what's a good type of energy food to eat before a workout. I find my energy levels are quite low. I go to the Gym normally early in the mornings so breakfast ideas would be much appreciated. Band is also quite tight so limited as to what I can eat.
  3. Been banded 1yr and 3 days. I've lost 4 stones 2 pounds so far but have got stuck around this weight for a couple of months, due to me making wrong food choices really. My own fault I know:( I must admit this week I have, on occasion over endulged with topping up my portions last night I felt really uncomfortable around the port area and felt a little nausaus but wasn't sick at all, just felt bloated and not right, today don't feel so nausaus but appetite is weird I am really worried that my band may have slipped. I've stuck to soup today but still feel bloated and tummy is a little swollen at top. Like a little pouch . Pain is minimal really but just feel a little I comfortable . Can anyone help a or experienced anything like this ?. I have today made an appointment with my surgeon for Thursday, to get myself checked out. Suppose this is my wake up call:(
  4. Surgery date was April 12th 2011. Lost 19 bags of sugar
  5. Thanks so much for your response I'm not very strict with my calorie counting but try and stay under 1000 a day and I'm not a great fan of excercing. I know that cutting down on my portion sizes has helped this week and of course food choices are a big factor . To be honest I know what I have to do just need to get motivated. i'm really glad i stumbled across this app today as only my immediate family know I've had a lap band and sometimes I feel I have no one to share how I'm feeling with that understands. I am though going to take your advice and watch my calorie in take and up my excercise. I am a little concerned about my fill on 16 th march as I only have 4cc in my band last time had an unfill of half a cc as was way too tight and kept throwing up. So I'm not really sure whether I need another fill or I just need to be more strict with myself.
  6. Hi. I'm new to this forum. I had my op in 12th April 2011 and have lost 39l pounds to date. I am scheduled to have my last fill on 16/03/12 and at the moment struggling to get any more weight off. I have been stuck for 2 months at this weight fluctuating between 200 and 204. I'm trying to decrease my portion sizes and since doing this have lost 4 pounds this week, bringing me back down to 200 pounds again. Anyone else stuck like me ?
