Knowing when you're full?
Yeah you never really feel full on liquids. When you start to actually eat food mainly your Protein you will definitely know what full feels like. Congrats on your sleeve!

Finally...november 6Th Sleevers!
Hi Denise your still on soft foods? I am currently on Phase III one week from Phase 4. Currently I still drink my Protein shakes. Breakfast, I will either do a Protein shake, or 1 egg scrambled soft with cheese and a morning star sausage pattie (10gm of protein). I try to get in milk as well since it's 8 gm of protein. If I have to have a snack I do yogurt. lunch I stick to any type of fish, chicken salad, turkey burger etc... dinner same thing but I try to incorporate a veggie like broccoli, green Beans, squash, sweet potato etc.. Good luck on your journey it gets easier and the sooner you start eating regular food the more your sleeve will start to tolerate it and the better you will be. Also the quicker you will start loosing, currently I am doing about 1 to 2lbs a week and i am happy with that.

Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
I'm at a stall myself, I am hoping by increasing my workout it starts me back to loosing. I feel great but wow these stalls are hard. I put my scale up and took it back down( ) I whish I had left it at the top of my closet

Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
Just make sure your getting in your Protein and liquids you will see a change shortly. I am at the end of my 5th week and I have had two stalls so far. I just put my scale up on the shelf and kept it moving, I will not let those numbers define me. I'll take the inches anytime!

Week 2
Yes, and you will continue to have it after each milestone. But just know you will hit that mile stone, please don't let it stress you. You will have some stalls along the way I had one in week 3 and then in week 4 I began to move again. When you hit your stalls it's either your not getting in enough Protein or your not getting in enough liquids. Modify it and you will be fine, good luck on your journey!

12/10- Run 5K within 45mins: I am officially 5 weeks out today, I have planned for my first workout session starting tomorrow. I don't want to put a time limit on how long I walk. I am just going to walk until I get tired and go from there

We are the same, I was sleeved 11/6 and I am officially today down 25lbs since surgery. I had a stall in week 3 and I know there will be other stalls but I know in the end this was the best decision for me. I haven't started exercising yet but I will begin this Monday I think it's time good luck!

Decided To Stay Off The Scale
OMG...I was sleeved on 11/6 and I am in a size 18 as well. I am so there with you, I'm not going to live my life by the scale but how I feel and what size clothes I get into! I was a strong 22/24 top and bottom. I am now a 14/16 on top and a 18 on the bottom! Yeah!

Getting Frustrated.. Any Suggestions?
Ditto what Gene said, you will have your stalls just make sure you are getting in as much of your fluids and Proteins. That is the most important thing and walk

Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
Open sleeve? So you didn't have it done laproscopically?
-
Nov Sleevers... What's Your Status?
I had my surgery 11/6 and yes you are not alone. I am still trying to find the right formula, are you getting in all of your fluids? I think that's my problem, or at least I hope thats my issue

Post Op: What Do You Track (If Anything) When You Eat?
I weight myself everyday too, I was think I'm crazy for doing this but it helps me know when I stall and when I am loosing really well. The only problem I am having is getting my fluids in have you found a way to successfully do that yet?

Family, Kids, Vsg, And Hospitals
If your sister can come, have her come. My sister came and that gave my hubby the ability to be with me everyday

Wtf!?!?!?
I totally agree, I knew mine woud be high because I was in the hospital for 5 days. They billed close to 70K but the insurance only paid them 26K and I owe 200. And yes the premiums go up every year!
