  2. Hello all... I had my surgery back in March and while my post surgical pain was minimal, I did have the "tearing" sensation at my port sight. I still do from time to time. It is not as bad as it use to be but it still feels like it is "pulling" sometimes. Especially when my trainer makes me do dad gum burpees, which I must say that I absolutely HATE!. lol. But it has all become tolerable and totally worth it. 75 lbs later it is SO VERY worth it.
  3. I had the iBand surgery on March 16th of this year. It was an easy surgery and I consider it the best thing that I have ever done for myself. Went in had my surgery and went home that day. Pain was tolerable and didn't even have to take the medication they gave me for nausea. I am now down 75 lbs and couldn't be happier. I have given away a lot of my "fat" clothes and have even started buying a few new things to get me through this weight size. I have a trainer who I work out with 5 days a week and she never lets me quit. (She always tells me that she knows where I live and will come find me. lol) I am in love with life now and happier than I have been in a long time. I am enjoying things that I never would try before. I am in control of my life now and I love it.
  4. You are welcome. I feel the same way about my burping and hiccupping. If it is due to restriction then I am going to tolerate it too. And as my trainer says "any loss is still a loss". She is partly responsible for my weight loss. She never lets me quit. She knows where I live and she comes and finds me if I try to quit. I work out with her 5 days a week. Just keep up doing what yo are doing and you'll reach your goal.

  6. I also use the Premier Protein shake that I get from Sam's. I really like them. I have heard also that Shakeology shakes are good and have your daily vitamins in them.
  7. I had my iBand surgery in March and I am down 75 lbs. Since my last fill in October i also do the burping and if I eat too much, I start to hiccup. I had a mother of one of my daughter's friends who didn't even recognize me the other day. My daughter, who does not give compliments freely, said to me "mom, she probably didn't recognize you because you have lost a lot of weight since she saw you last." She doesn't realize how much that one sentence meant to me...
  8. My surgery was on 3-16-12 and my first fill was on the 6th of April... It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated... (I have a HUGE fear of needles!!!) didn't feel much restriction, but my second was yesterday and I feel a little more restriction then the first one... My doctor does fills every 3-4 weeks... My next fill is the 16th of May...
  9. I start with hiccups too... That's how I know that I must stop or suffer...
  10. I use Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa Lay It On Thick line of creams... They have Shea butter in them and they smell good and help reduce scarring... They also have fragrance free too...
