My preop diet starts on April 5 which is 5 days before surgery- Got A Date!
I'm so excited......April 12th I will be having my VSG surgery. I'm excited and nervous - but I hope this month goes by quick! If all goes well I'll be having the SILS Sleeve (Single Incision Laproscopic Sleeve) which means only one incision through my belly button (no scars!). Pre surgery diet starts on April 5 and isn't too restrictive so it shouldn't be too bad! Wish me luck!!! SW - 240 CW - 229 Goal - 165 to 170- Low Bmi (36) With Diabetes? How Are You Post Op?
Hi I'm type 2 diabetic and have a BMI of around 37 (5'7 241 lbs). My insurance is covering and I'm hoping to get my sleeve surgery in April. My surgeon says this surgery should help with the Diabetes. Best of luck to you!! Stay in touch - Got A Date!
