  1. I missed the revision part! That's probably the price difference
  2. You could go with a very comparable surgeon in Tijuana for about 5k pm me and I'll share more (I am NOT a coordinator)
  3. A few ladies that have recently went to him quoted me 8700
  4. How much did your surgery cost with him?
  5. How much its it to have surgery with Dr Aceves, and how long do you stay at the hospital, and then do you go to a hotel or a recovery house?
  6. Do you have any old gold jewelery laying around? The price of gold is sky high, if you have some stuff that you don't care about anymore, find a reputable dealer and sell it

  8. Hi! Your story sounds much like mine! My advice in a nutshell: get your date set with Dr Aceves, then begin calling local Dr's and asking if they will see you. If not, there are walkin clinics that can run labs on you and see you until you find a Dr you like! Good luck to you! Don't put it off sweetie, go with your heart!
  9. I have not. But I would see if your surgery is actually done in a hospital, and not a surgery center, in case of problems
  10. Just because someone's Dr used a 40fr bougie, doesn't necessarily mean theirs is bigger! The difference from a 34 to a 40 is a couple of millimeters!! I would have another talk with your surgeon and ask him what he suggests for your size! He had your best interest in mind i'm sure, so I'd personally leave it to him. You have him your two cents, I'd just keep reminding him, so it's in his head. Another idea is to mark on your tummy "larger sleeve please" lol I'm sure that will get your point across
  11. I'm in Fallon! Not been sleeved yet, June! I will be going to Mexico to see Dr Ramos Kelly! I have been through all the hours with the insurance just to chicken out or be talked out of it. So, this being my third time, I found out after going to the seminar (for the 3rd time) that my hubby's new insurance doesn't cover wls! Sigh, just my luck. So, I have been researching Mexico and it's my best bet. I like what the sleeve offers (less probs, not intestine te-route) but not sure I will be able to lose all I need to (125ish) still waffling between sleeve & rny
  12. The "flu-like shakes" is your body detoxing! I'm sure your Dr has your best interest in mind. I've never heard of using bars for pre-op, but hey, i'm new
  13. I plan on a "last supper" before my pre-op diet. I wish you all the luck in the world. I will be praying for you to be successful with your new tool, and for your surgeon to gave a steady hand!
  14. I haven't nailed down an exact date, but I will have my surgery mid June!
