  1. Wow see this is where we differ I was on a strict clear liquid for a week before i could even try protein. On week 2 I was able to try some protein drinks and soft cream based soups. As far as I can remember all I could do was sip sip sip water for about 4 to 5 days then gradually I was able to increase my water intake. I dont think I could have handled protein well on my first week out, I could barely tolerate water so I did a lot of sugar free pops.
  2. I think some pain is normal, I could only tolerate small sips ata time but the pain was more like uncomfortable feeling. Have you talked to your doctor?
  3. Thats scary why would u try that ?
  4. I had those gas pains for a good 4 or 5 days after surgery I noticed that walking as uncomfortable as it may be helped so much!
  5. Lol, love the animations !
  6. Dont let people like that bring you down, somebody in my family told me I was lazy because I got sleeved. I dont think working almost 50 hours a week and working out 4 to 5 times a week qualifies for being lazy. Some people are ignorant or just dont have enough facts before they decide to speak. Im sorry you lost a friend, maybe one day that person will realize the mistake she made by wrongly judging you.
  7. I work in a pharmacy so i am around this stuff all the time, people have been fired for taking this higly addictive drug.
  8. I was given hydrocodone (vicodin ) elixir for pain. Omeprazole for acid reflux and ursodiol to prevent gall stones , also promethazine for nausea, but never needed it. The vicodin elixir tasted nasty but worked wonders in the days after my surgery.
  9. Wow , I remember when I was 3 days out, I think that was the worst time, it was around the time , That I started to ask myself " what did I do to myself ?" . The good thing is that things will get better really soon. Im quite suprised that you did not get liquid form of vicodin. Youre sleeve is still healing I cant imaginine swallowing pills this soon after. Things will get better soon though hang in there.
  10. It would be nice to get a little taller, I did notice my feet got smaller too.
  11. Dont worry , I know its hard right about now, you might even question yourselve for getting sleeved, I know its not a good feeling not being able to drink much, but as your sleeve heals you should be able to drink more and more. It will get better soon.
