This one to the external appeals place or independence review organization not sure what the "technical" name is for it. I am SO NERVOUS!! If they deny me this time I don't know what I'll do as this is the end of the insurance road & self pay is not an option at this point in my life.Idk about that specific insurance but I have Highmark bcbs & the peer2peer did nothing for me. This is crazy! I am getting so discouraged & feeling hopeless. But this is the surgery I feel is best for me so I guess I will keep fighting. I am so ready to have this done already!!Congrats!!Thank you!! I thought it was odd myself since the bypass is a more complicated & more expensive surgery.
