  5. I did call the dr, and the nurse said its normal and could last for weeks! Something about the nerves reattaching themselves, she didn't seem concerned, but I'm in some serious pain! It hurts to move!
  6. K so today is 2.5 weeks since my surgery . Today at work anytime I make a sudden movement I would get a shooting pain in my port area. It was just coming and going all day. Now just walking around or bending at all is giving me these stabbing port pains. They hurt so bad it almost takes my breath away! Is this normal??

  16. I was banded on the 2 as well. I'm having a rough time as well, I even ended up in the ER on Tuesday night for severe vommitting and diarehhea. I was also extremely dehydrated. I've been having the diarehhea problem all week, it sux. I've cried and had my breakdowns but ultimately I did this to change my life. So hang in there it can only get better. Stay strong
  17. Ya I've already lost 6 but probably caz I can barely eat! I had 1/4c of baby rice cereal with a little banana at 4pm and I'm still extremely full! Like painful full. It's the weirdest feeling. No my tummy is just gurgling and making crazy noises! Over this post op crud!

  19. 30lbs is awesome! Has it been hard? I'm hoping to lose 80lbs. Only down 6 so far but it's the first week
  20. Plication is a new procedure they do with the band, I just had it done as well. Under ther band they fold ur stomach into a sleeve to create a smaller stomach w/o rerouting or cutting the stomach. It's a brand new thing called the iband . Gives you more of a full feeling cause it shrinks your stomach. Studies have shown to be very promising and people ate losing weight faster than with the band alone. Also fewer fills are needed and it lessens the likelihood a slippage or erosion I'm very excited to be a new iband owner! So far do good! 6 days post op
  21. My surgery was 4/2 and it was $9988 includes a full year of fills that's in ft worth tx
  22. Ok I took anti diarrhea med and it's stopped for now. I also read to eat baby rice cereal with mashed banana. I mixed it with water so we will see. Supposedly it's suppose to help "bind" things together.
  23. I've tried yogurt, protein shake, probiotic drink, mashed potatoes, everything is making me feel sick and bloated or have diarrhea. I just drank a probiotic drink caz my tummy is rumbling and now I feel sick
  24. Ugh this sux! The dr doesn't seem to think its that big of a deal, but I can't eat or drink anything substantial without running to the bathroom (
