Just Stopping In!
Well I haven't been here for a while since so much has been going on. It is now 15 weeks and as of today I have reached my 2nd milestone and down officially 50 pounds! I feel absolutely great by my thighs are hurting from the weigh lifting. If I know what I know now, I would have done this years ago. The great part is that my husband got band on Tuesday and doing well. I encourage everyone to never give him and keep going. It might get hard but you can do it!

First Fill 5Cc!
Wow it took my three fills and i am at 4.6ccs in my 10cc band with ALOT of restrictions. For my appointment on the 7th of August, I might ask for only .5cc but I can't keep anything down since my fill last Tuesday.

Third Fill Hell!!!
Thank you very much because this is giving me the blues. Everytime I eat more then i can feel the watering of my mouth and nothing stays down. Guess i can't eat a cup of food anymore but now have to concentrate on a half of cup and deal with it. My husband did tell me that I chew extremely fast so I guess I better learn from him. This is so hard but I will get it and probably won't get anymore fills.

Third Fill Hell!!!
On Tuesday, I went for my third fill and now have 4.6ccs in a 10cc band. For whatever reason, i am thinking that i can eat more and everything is coming up. When i eat slow and take my time then everything goes down. is it that i have to get use to my much smaller stomach or is this thing too dang tight? My doctor stated on Tuesday that I was wide open and i needed a fill. Well now on a small portion can go down. Please help me.

Drinking
Wow that is a new one on me. I drink over 100 ounces of water a day and never worry about 3 ounces per hour. Is there a reason why you were told this?

This Is The Only Place Where I Could Ask This Question
Good morning everyone. There is something that I just need to know to make sure I can stop stressing. Does anyone or has anyone heard of band slippage due to rought intimacy? I know everyone is different, but I don't want to mess around and have anything hit or the band slip. Please let me know.

What Should My Goal Weight Be?
My surgeon stated that my healthy BMI would be 117 which he doesn't want me at because of my height and body type. The goal he established was at 60% of the excess weight to be gone which was 80 pounds; so it was 175. I had my surgery on April 2nd and started at 260 well this morning i got on the scale and I am at 222. Yes, there is a big difference because I work out every single day for two hours and want to drop the most of my weight the first year and maintain from there. Talk to your doctor and let him/her know your concern and they will be more than happy to help.

? For Spinners
Spinning is a huge success to my weight loss. Upon starting the class about three weeks, I discuss with my instructor my goal and the procedure so I could maximize my time. She has shown me how the position both the handle and seat to fit my body for comfort. I take spin class at least three times a week and burn roughly 1000 calories each time. If you take into account 3000 calories from spin a week that is great. Just make sure you use the resistance and get out of the saddle, this is were you burn calories. If you are stationary and doing the same thing for an hour then calories burned will be extremely low.

Second Fill Tuesday...ate Soild Food Wednesday...now I Feel Bad!! Please Help
Thank you all so much. My directions were clear liquids one day, mushies day 2 and regular food day 3. With what I am feeling, I am going to stick with just liquids today and work back up. I think with this fill I have to realize that I can't eat as much as I did before. This is teaching me a real lesson. The cottage cheese went down and I think if it still feel funny on Saturday I am calling him.

Second Fill Tuesday...ate Soild Food Wednesday...now I Feel Bad!! Please Help
Hello everyone. I had my second fill on Tuesday and now I have 3.5 ccs in a 10cc band. Everything was going down fine until i ate two pieces of chinese food on last night. Sorry to be nasty but I had to go into the bathroom and throw it up because my band was hurting. However, there was a little blood that came up which made me think something got scratch during the process. I was able to drink water a hour later and everything was okay. This morning I am eating cottage cheese and peaches and have a small burn when it goes down. I am thinking I didn't give my stomach time to heal from the fill and hoping it will go away. If anyone experience this before please let me know. I am seriously thinking about calling my surgeon.
