  1. The only internet access I have is on my phone and its not the greatest. Can you please tell me what the 5 day diet is and the purpose? I have heard it mentioned before but interested in learning about it. Thanks!
  2. I haven't had a fill since July and I'm very comfortable where I'm at. I ate some vegetable soup yesterday and have had tummy problems and getting sick since noon yesterday. I feel a lot better tonight finally but still have the left shoulder pain. I haven't had any heartburn. My diet is pretty good but I do have a hard time eating fruits and veggies but thought I would try the soup being cooked soft veggies. Never again.
  3. I was banded on 2/14/12 and did experience shoulder pain for a week after surgery. For the last 2 days I am having left shoulder pain that comes and goes. I'm also having some tummy issues. I wouldn't say a completely stuck episode but maybe a little, if that makes sense. I've been trying to drink hot drinks but that's not helping either it just causes more gurgling. So my first question is the should pain still normal?
  4. I have the Weight Watchers scale and really like it.
  5. I was banded on the 14th and I have the heart flutters too. It just comes and goes. I just figured it was normal!? I will check with my doctor if it continues in a few more days.
  6. Does anyone have a yummy low sugar oatmeal recipe? I looked at the boxes of instant oatmeal and just seems like too much sugar!
  7. Thanks to both of you! Today is much better and I can eat and drink more. Feel so much better but I am super exhausted still.
  8. Hello- I was banded on 2/14 and so far having an awesome recovery. I have not had to take any pain medication, no gas pains or nausea. I do have some discomfort when I first stand up. I did have to stay overnight in the hospital because I had a large hernia repair. My only concern is I can only drink about 2 ounces of liquid a day. I had 1 ounce of jello today at 8:00am and 1 ounce of jello at 1:00pm and I have been so uncomfortably full since then. This has been the same thing everday. Tomorrow I can add milk, creamy soups, protein shakes and othjer liquids but I am concerned if I get so full from jello how am I going to be able to drink the other liquids? Any suggestions?
  9. Thanks everyone. I have been at the hospital waiting since 11:15 and no ome cab tell me what time the surgery is. Its so frustrating. I'm nervous enough as it is. Just trying to sit here patiently and wait is not helping.
  10. It's finally time! I will be banded tomorrow! It's been a long journey and this 2 week liquid diet kicked my butt, but I have lost 18 pounds during this time. I am both nervous and excited to be banded. I look forward to the new me and being able to do the things that I couldnt do in the past 10 years because of my weight.
