Shoulder Pain

I was banded on 2/14/12 and did experience shoulder pain for a week after surgery. For the last 2 days I am having left shoulder pain that comes and goes. I'm also having some tummy issues. I wouldn't say a completely stuck episode but maybe a little, if that makes sense. I've been trying to drink hot drinks but that's not helping either it just causes more gurgling. So my first question is the should pain still normal?

this far out from your surgery I'd say it's not gas pain that as all left the body by now . I'd think you are to tight. I had the same thing happen to me this summer my diet changed from being to tight and I got left shoulder pain and it was right on the anterior shoulder where the scapula lies against the ribs. My surgon knew right away i was to tight when i mentioned the shoulder discomfort.

Has your diet choices changed ie: you are choosing soft slider items that you know will do down and won't get stuck, because healthier things like veggies and protiens are giving you trouble?

Are you not loosing weight?

These are all signs of being to snug also are you having heartburn and GI upset in the eening?

Please go see your MD they can do a barium on you and see what is going on inside.

I haven't had a fill since July and I'm very comfortable where I'm at. I ate some vegetable soup yesterday and have had tummy problems and getting sick since noon yesterday. I feel a lot better tonight finally but still have the left shoulder pain. I haven't had any heartburn. My diet is pretty good but I do have a hard time eating fruits and veggies but thought I would try the soup being cooked soft veggies. Never again.
