Jen and Ethan are coming back by bus and will be here on the 12th. Joe is driving the U-Haul back and will be here hopefully on the 13th. He was going to stay longer, but he said as long as he was depressed, he might as well be depressed with friends and family rather than by himself. I will just be glad to have them all home and especially to get Ethan back. Mmmmmm leftover Thai food for lunch. Then off to flute rehearsal. The Bobster will be golfing, as usual.

Good morning, Violets.. PamELa.... uuuggggg is right.. Hope you get this issue resolved. Michelle.. was just reading about the bus accident in our local paper this morning. Tragic. Lazy day today. All I have is a flute rehearsal at 2. I'm making meat loaf for dinner. Not the German kind, the Case kind with home made pickle relish mixed in. Haven't made it in years and the Bobster is thrilled. I'm going to have buttered, cooked cabbage along with it. I got in the hot tub last night and we got the knee to bend even farther. Now all I have to do is keep up with the home exercises I got from the therapist and I'll be back to exercise walking and riding my bike hopefully before the snow flies. Joe and family are scheduled to head back to Michigan on the 11th. I can't wait to have Ethan back here for some Gramma time. Off to find some breakfast and get dressed for the day. Everyone make it a good one!!!

Good morning, Violets.. 46 degrees this morning and the furnace kicked on.. Fall is definitely here. Leaves on the trees are changing now. I need to get out to my gardens this weekend to get all the artsy fartsy stuff brought in and the plants cut back. Fun, fun. I didn't take a percocet for well over 24 hours, but the knee started to throb last night so I took one. I had such bad dreams!! Someone was trying to shoot me with a double barreled shotgun. I was crying and begging.... bad, bad dream. But I'm up and alive this morning. Grady and Kris are coming over and I need to get some batteries for the laughing cow I bought him. Off to do my hair and get ready for the day. Everyone make it a good one!!!

Delo.. The knee was fine. Lots of walking and I tried to bend it as much as possible. It is still swollen, but way less than before. Janie.. the shirt says "property of Thunder Bay Therapy".. you know, one of those gym type shirts. Sorry to hear about Walmart that close to your condo... :smile2: Mae... $3,000 to be hypnotized?? yikes!!! Just back from singing rehearsal. Now to catch up on some tv shows. Kris and Grady are coming over tomorrow. I got a really cute animal for Grady at the Dallas airport. It's a cow that rolls over laughing. Hope he likes it. Everyone have a great evening!! Good morning, Violets!! Had my therapy session this morning and bent the knee to 120 on my own so they said I didn't need to come back anymore!! Got my t-shirt and a form to fill out and I'm DONE!! It's been a long 11 weeks, but it's over and no more stressing about bending. Soooooooo another little Violet boy on it's way. I think an arranged marriage between Sophia and Trent, Travis, Tristian or Trevor is in order, don't you?? Off to do some laundry and clean house. Where is Susanne when you NEED her???:smile: Everyone have a great day!!

All of the Violets should be home safe and sound now. 50 degrees here!!! And I get to sleep in a bed. But dang, that couch was comfortable! Thanks to all for a great weekend. Purple tiaras rule! Will get pics uploaded on facebook tomorrow. And PamELa, I'll get your picture sent to you for the picture frame, so you won't forget each and every one of us! HA!! Nighters ladies!!

Arrived at the hotel in time to watch the last 10 minutes of Modern Family. 3:30 wake up call.. 4:30 shuttle to the airport...then here I come!! See you all tomorrow!!!

Good evening, Violets.. I'm headed out to singing rehearsal. Just checked my itinerary and I won't be needing a wheel chair when I land in Chicago.. I have a 4 hour lay over!!!! Janie.. what time do you get to Chicago??? On the way home I have a 3 hour lay over in Dallas. I really prefer lots of time, but that's a little too much!! Oh well, better too much time than not enough. I just got a refill on my percocet so I'm good to go. One more night here and then we're headed out. Everyone have a good evening.. Oh.. I talked to Joe today and said to give it a month and if he didn't have a decent job by Nov. 1, to just come home. We'll have to figure out how we can do that, but we'll work it out. Hopefully Jen will agree. She is cleaning hotel rooms and hates it. I don't blame her.

WTH?? Why does each day have three numbers??? We do very well with just two in these parts. I'm with Laura.... A/C works, right??

Good morning, Violets.. Just back from therapy. It went extremely well. I got the knee to bend to 120 on my own. Yesterday it was 115. I got up and down the stairs without taking it one step at a time too. Wooo hoooo. Still bringing my cane and the percocet though. Justincase. Good evening, Violets.. Grady is here for a bit and so far we have had a sucker, a cookie and half an apple. One out of three isn't bad. Pam... as long as there is some singing at church, I'm happy. Just finished supper and now for some playtime with Grady while Kris finishes Zumba..

Good morning, Violets.. Had therapy this morning and we got the knee to bend to 123.. that's a record for me. Only 3 more therapy sessions.. one before I go and 2 when I get back. I will be glad to have my days to myself again, but unfortunately that will make me miss Ethan more. Guess I'll have to make some more trips to see Grady during the week. I started packing yesterday and am mostly done. PamELa... is there music at your church??? I really would like to go with you on Sunday, if you're going. Got the pool cleaned out today and Bob turned off the furnace, pump and drained it. Called the pool place to come out this week and close it up for us. Now it's hot tub for the rest of the season. Hey.. I will need a "bender" while I'm there.... NO, not what you're thinking!! When we're in the hot tub, I'll need someone to help me bend and stretch my knee. Any nurse/Physical Therapist wanna be's in the group?? Off to head to the bank and turn in the money from the change jar so I can send it to Joe. Every little bit helps... Everyone have a great day. AND don't forget they will all be independently wealthy by the time they leave the casino! Not to worry, PamELa... they aren't the pick up type. Now Janie and I on the other hand....:thumbup: Been a rough weekend here. We are both so worried about Joe and family. We are funneling money to them to keep them above water until he can get another job. He interviewed at a grocery store and will know about that this week, plus there is another possibility in the oil fields, but it would take 6 weeks of training in Oklahoma. I just hate not knowing and being so far away from him. I keep telling him I love him and it will all turn out ok, but I'm not even sure of it doing that. I'm praying really, really hard that God will guide him to the best job possible for him and his family. I just hope it happens soon. Much as I have looked forward to this get away, it's going to be tough being away from Bob when we're both feeling so helpless. I'll do my best not to bring everybody down and maybe, just maybe there will be good news before the end of the week. At least you guys will definitely take my mind off of things while I'm there. We got the dog sitter all advised of our schedule and I'll pack tomorrow and head to the bank on Wednesday morning to draw out some "lunch money". We'll leave here about 2 Wednesday and be in Detroit by 8. I must remember my cane. I don't use it much, but I'm guessing it might come in handy with all the walking we're going to do! And yes, Jane... I still take the percocet, though only one tablet once or twice a day now. Hardly any pain at all anymore, just lots of swelling, but doc says that will take months before that goes away. Off to do some house cleaning. We had the grandkids over yesterday and had a great time swimming. Sure makes me miss Ethan though.. sighhhhhhhh
