Just up from a short nap. Ethan and his step bro Whitney were here and had fun in the pool. It was great seeing Joe again. PamELa..I just downloaded that book..will hit it after I finish The Cookbook Collector. I'm waiting for Bob to get home with my tabloid fix so he can watch while I go in the pool for some R&R and therapy. The therapist said today... "now your trip is at the end of September, right?? I want to get you ready for that." She's as excited as I am.. lol

Good morning, Violets.. A great day today. Therapy went very well. I'm bending to 96 and the pain has really dwindled due to icing the knee a lot more. I'm waiting for Joe and Ethan to come over and make my day!! Hope to get some pool time in this afternoon. Temp is 67 but the water temp is 88. Saw the pix of the bus accident.. how tragic. Hope everyone has a great day. No therapy for me till Monday, except for what I do myself here!

Good evening, Violets.. It was a very nice day today. I napped a little exercised a little and then spent an hour in the pool!!! Bob helped me get in and out and stayed with me while I walked around and did lots of bending exercises. It felt sooooooooooo good. Can't wait to get back in tomorrow too, if the weather holds. Michelle.. sounds like a class that is tailored to you!!! Hope you enjoy it. Jane... thanks for the text! It HAS been a good day!! Off to watch some more X Files.. we are on Season 8 now. Joe is due home tomorrow night to pick up Jen and Ethan and take them back to Wyoming. He got a job with Serve Pro and signed a lease on a trailer. I'll miss my little guy, but would rather he be with his daddy, rather than missing him every day. Everyone have a good evening!!

Good afternoon, Violets.. Not a good day today. First time I have thought, why the heck did I do this? Lots of pain today so I'm back on taking the pain pills on schedule instead of when I think I need them. Kris says that's a better way to do it anyway. I just hate taking pills. Kris and Grady came over for a little while this morning and that made me feel better. Bob is working today so I'm by myself for the day. Thanks for the card, Michelle! It couldn't have come on a better day. I needed the encouragement. Off to do my exercises and then nap. My life in a nutshell these days. Everyone have a good day. Laura.. what fun it would be to have two little Violet girls to spoil!!!

1 to 2# round steak sliced 1 family size can cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute) 2-3 onions sliced PamELa adds some dry soup mix. I will use that next time too. Cook on low all day. Just before serving add a small container of sour cream Serve over noodles.

Good morning, Violets.. Had a good night's sleep last night. Only one pain pill during the night. I'm taking two today before therapy. Today is the mean therapist. Hope I survive. Or maybe I'll just really bend my knee and kick her!! Bob and I are going to try and get me in the pool today! Everyone have a good day..

Good afternoon, Violets.. A dreary, lazy day here. It's been raining most of the morning. I had a good night last night. Bob has been massaging my leg like the therapist did and it sure is making a difference. The swelling is really going down and it's easier to bend. I have the "mean" therapist on Monday so we'll see how that works out. I told bob he had to massage my knee before I headed to therapy and hopefully that will help. The incision looks really good and is starting to itch now. I'm still taking the pain meds, but only 1/2 dosage and not as often. About the church... wellllll.... the pastor is gone. His last Sunday was the 18th. It was a farewell service and one of the church ladies got up and said she had to say something and that was we had treated the pastor poorly and it should have come to a vote and it was not too late to have a vote. ummm hello.. he resigned!! It was so totally inapproprate for a farewell service. And this lady is usually so very quite. Never says boo. The conference minister was very good. He thanked her and just continued on with the service. We have lost several members, but those remaining are very optimistic about the future of the church. The people who are upset are being very vocal and very unchristian. One of the ladies passed my friend a note during the service that said.. "I hope you're happy now". How rude is that!!!???? Right now we have supply pastors filling the pulpit until we can get an interim. There are several possibilities and we should have an interim in place by early October. He/she will have a big job ahead of them, but it just had to be done. The staff says the atmosphere around the church is just so different.. much more relaxed and happy. I can't wait for the next phase to begin. I want my church back! Off to relax some more before I exercise again at 4 and 8. My goal is to get in the pool tomorrow. We'll see how that goes weatherwise and being able to get up and down the ladder. Everyone have a great weekend!
