Sheeeeeesh, PamELa.. what the heck did you do??? Have you had these shots before??? Glad you were able to make it to the ER in time. Now what do you do about the allergies? I sure wouldn't want to give myself another shot. (wouldn't give myself the first one... shots?? YIKES!!) I'm feeling a bit better today. I didn't go to Community Chorus last night. Tonight is New Day Singers and we have a concert on the 19th, so it's important for me to be there. I'm going to hit the hot tub tonight for the first time in months and months. Weather is supposed to get up in the 50's again so it won't be so traumatic going outside to get in the tub. I have a PMS luncheon today and then nothing until tonight. Joe is not working so he is home with Ethan and Jen. He says Jen is doing good. The bobster is off meeting with his clergy buddies and then will head to Rogers City for the afternoon and evening. He and I will get home about the same time this evening. I had a slice of toast with melted cheese on it for breakfast. Nice change of taste. Hope everyone has a good day. Good morning, Violets.. I'm headed to my hospital shift this morning and then nothing until the church board meeting tonight. I'm opting out of Community Chorus because of this darn cold. I need to save my voice for our little group concert on the 19th. Hope everyone has a good day. No Ethan for me this week.. sighhhh, but it's a good thing cause I don't want to give him my cold.

I'm MUCH older and when I put eyeliner on it looks like...well, like I have eyeliner on. Not very attractive, to say the least. Sounds like things are going well for you, Suzy.. glad to hear it. I spent almost 4 hours in bed this afternoon. I'm up to watch the Oscars.. it's tonight, right??? This IS Sunday, right?? I'm going to let Bob watch the big screen tv and I'll snuggle in bed upstairs to watch my show. It's going to be interesting to see who wins what. There are going to be lots of interesting results, I'm sure. Off to have another hot chocolate for my throat and then head to bed. Everyone have a good evening. Sleep well. Good morning, Violets.. I went to bed at 9:30 last night and read for a bit before falling asleep. Slept til 7 this morning and am going to have a nap this afternoon. This cold is kicking my butt. I'm off to church, then home for a lazy, nap day. Everyone make it a good one..

Get Miralax... works terrific. I take it just about every day.

Definitely acid reflux. Try taking an over the counter med. They work for me.

Michelle.. I must say we are enjoying Bob's Keurig. I use it for hot water for hot chocolate and he uses it for coffee and tea. He got his first pods online as there is a deal when you register that you can buy two boxes and get two boxes free. He has enough coffee to last him months and months! I love the Land O Lakes cocoa in all the different flavors and that is my one treat a day with my Miralax. The joys of being old! We have $10 of Kohl's cash to use this month so maybe he'll get even MORE pods.

I've had my days confused all week!! Oscars are tomorrow night.. duh!!! I guess I'll REALLY be ready by then!

Good evening, Violets.. We had a really nice day together today. Bob got his carousel and is a happy camper. He also got some new pants. I got a new top and several shirts for Ethan that were on sale. We went to Lowes and got some bulbs to plant in the spring and a cushion for my trellis seat. My garden will be on the garden walk this year in July so we have a lot to do to get it ready. It was 50 degrees today so we're itching to get out in the yard and get things done. I got several new things from Collections catalog that will go in the gardens. I'm battling a cold now and slept for 2 hours yesterday afternoon and today when we got back I went to bed for a couple of hours. At least the headache is gone and the cough is better. It's all just a stuffy head now. I have to be over it by concert time mid-March. I'm still doing really well on the eating and am hoping the scale will reward me soon. I won't have Ethan all week so I can get some regular exercise in and if the weather stays like this I can go trykking!! Hope everyone is having a good day. Happy Birthday, Susanne!!! Can't wait to meet you in May! Off to get ready to watch the Oscars tonight. It will be so neat to see them since I was standing the the steps of the Kodak theatre in January when we were in LA.

Good morning, Violets.. Another cold morning here.. 12 degrees, but supposed to get up to 40 by afternoon. The Bobster and I are headed out of town to go shopping at Kohls and Lowes. The closest one is an hour away so we're leaving in a little bit to catch the early sale at Kohls. He needs to get a carousel for his Keurig coffee pods. And I just need to window shop. Michelle.. you posted as I was typing!!! We are definitely here for you. I'm so glad you had the courage to call and ask for help. Even though I only heard every other word.. the word CHOCOLATE came through loud and clear. I'm proud that you took control and made good decisions. It would have been so easy to say screw it and dive in, but then you know you would feel like shit... yep, I said it.. SHIT afterwards. Defying Gravity.... awesome song.. I could listen to that over and over and over again and picture the scene in the play. LOVED it! Hang in there,Roomie. We're in this together. HUGS!!

Good afternoon, Violets.. Having a good day so far. The sun is out and it's 36 degrees. Just got a call from Joe and Jen is now a part time cashier at Big Lots. She will be working two days a week so that means I only get Ethan two days a week. Better than nothing!! Her boss gave her a big hug, told her loved her and would do anything to get her better. The down side is they lose their insurance they have only had for a month. But she has it until March 16th so they are going to get as much done as possible before it expires. She then can apply for medicaid. She was turned down before because she made too much money. They are going to have to look for a new place to live though. They can't afford the one they are renting now with her pay cut. Boy, you think you're going to raise your kids and then they are on their own, but that's not the "Case", is it? I'm just glad we are here for Ethan and to help them out financially when we can. Off to read my tabloids and get all the dirt! Michelle.... I'm proud of you, Roomie!!!

Good morning, Violets.. It's a lazy day today. No Ethan, no meetings, no rehearsals.. nada... zilch. I don't know how to behave!! Ethan is coming over tonight for a couple of hours so Joe and Jen can go out. They have lots of decisions to make soon about jobs and finances and housing. Janie... you SILLY girl!!! 2 scoops of Miralax?? You are going to be one regular lady!! I just finished my hot chocolate with Miralax while I was reading your post. Well, I lost a pound when I got on the scale this morning. Now I'm back to where my ticker says I am. This is one heck of a difficult journey to get to goal!! I know I can't make it by the wedding date, but I'm sure going to give it my all. Temps are supposed to get in the 40's for the next few days so I might be able to get the Trykke out and have a spin around the neighborhood. Suzy..glad things are going well with Gia. She's lucky to have some stability in her life. She definitely testing the boundaries with the shorts, isn't she?? :w00t: But it seems like she's appreciative of you setting the rules. Kids really need that in their lives. Michelle.. did you go online for the shawl pattern?? Betsy made one for me for Christmas and she used a loom. It's so comfy and a great gift. PamELa.. today is the day!!!!! Can't wait to see more pics of the house.. especially you in the pool and hot tub. Jen is doing ok with Ethan, but I miss the little guy. If she cuts back on her work load, then I will get him even less. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and not seeing him every day is like a withdrawal. Steven is living with his dad two blocks away and has not been told what happened to his mom this week. He will be with his dad for awhile yet. Jen says she doesn't know how she can face him knowing what he wrote and said about her. He is one child that I think would be better off in foster care. Neither parent is able to take care of him properly. Sad situation. Laura.. so sad to hear of your friend's mom doing the same thing. She never should have been signed out, but I'm guessing they realize that now. Haydee.. glad to hear your aunt and uncle are doing well. George Lopez and his wife did the same thing and he's doing great. I had a cup of honey nut cherrios with 1/2 banana for breakfast and my hot chocolate a half hour later. Time now to get dressed and chillax the rest of the day with my tabloids.. :smile2: Everyone have a great day and weekend!!

AWESOME, Roomie!!! I'm proud of you!!!!! -6# and it's only March 4th!!! Wish I could see results from all my good behaviors.....But I'm keeping on, keeping on! Maybe one of these days a pound will come off again.

Good morning, Violets.. I'm up early for a flute rehearsal and to get things ready for the accountant who is coming today. I take care of all the financial stuff here and I have to be gone when the accountant arrives. I have everything in order for Bob to present. We'll see how good of a job he does! Things are calm on the home front. Jen got home yesterday, Ethan went home and it's very quiet here today. I offered to take Ethan so Jen could rest today, but Joe said they were fine. I won't see Ethan again until Monday. I think I'll spend some time in bed today. I have this hacking cough that calms down when I'm laying down. I have two concerts coming up in mid March and can't afford to have no voice or air to blow on the flute!! I'm off to fix some breakfast even though I don't feel like eating at all. Janie... hope your day today is better than yesterday!!! I read about your flat tires on Facebook. Everyone have a great day..

Good afternoon,Violets. Ethan just went home with daddy. Jen is home. The psychiatrist that talked to her today said she didn't need to be back in the mental ward. She put her on Celexa and said the drugs they tried to give her after her last episode were incorrect. Both Bob and I have been to this psychiatrist before and we really trust her. She did well by both of us. So my fingers are crossed. There will be ongoing counseling and follow up. Jen has tomorrow and Friday off and then will be back to work on Monday, so I won't have Ethan again until then. So now it's off to choir and then home to watch Modern Family while I exercise. Hope everyone is having a good day. Sure is quiet in here.
