Good Morning, Violets... contest stats.... gained 2#.. lost inches. it's a wash for me, but I'm not gonna beat myself up over it. I feel great and have lost since my last fill and am not bouncing up and down now right now, so that's a plus. I have a goal for the trip and I'm sticking with that. Busy day for me today so I better get my butt in gear. I'm anxious to see who wins the contest!! Make it a good one everyone... catch ya later!!

Suzie... I got a certificate to the local nursery. Then they called me and asked if I could work tomorrow. lol I just do a bunch of filing so it's a no brainer for me. Had a good day today. I got the hitch on the car so we can pull the boat, and got new brakes so the boat doesn't end up in the back seat of the car when I try to stop!! Choir was great tonight. We are gearing up for Gospel Sunday on June 8th. It's the last sunday for the choir for the summer and we pull out all the stops with lots of toe tapping, knee slapping songs. Everyone always looks forward to it. I best be heading to bed. I have a nail appointment tomorrow, then the hospital shift and then Ethan for the afternoon. Everyone have a good evening. Jenn.. I was telling the Bobster about the feelings some had about their weight loss and he said it so right.. We are all works in progress!! Some of us are farther along on the journey than others, but we are all here for each other and NOBODY disappoints anybody!! Certainly not that I am aware. So hold your head high and be a proud Violet. I'm proud of YOU and everyone on this thread. Look how far we've come!!! Good morning, Violets.. I'm up early cause we are taking the Aztek in to get a trailer hitch put on at 8 a.m. Then we'll be able to haul the boat. Can't wait to get the boat out on the water and see how it does. I'm eating cottage cheese and FRESH blueberries. Walmart had some yesterday afternoon and they were not horribly priced, so I'm enjoying my favorite breakfast again. Not going down easy, but going down. I couldn't get to sleep last night for some reason, so I know it's going to be naptime today before choir and german class. DD gets pinned one week from today!! She's decided she doesn't want to be a nurse, she wants to make cakes like Duff on Food Network. arghhhhhhhhhh KIDS!!! Course she will work part time until she gets pregnant, and luckily with DSIL's income she doesn't have to work. At least she knows she doesn't want to go to school anymore, but still has a skill to fall back on if it's ever needed. She's worked hard and done well, so I'm really proud of her. But cakes??? what a hoot!! The girl watches too much TV. Pretty darn cold here this morning. The furnace just kicked on. It's 30 degrees out there. I gotta go let the garage dog out and then get ready to take the car in. Everyone have a great day. Make wise choices and drink, drink, drink!

Good afternoon, Violets.. I just got back from my shift at the hospital. It's Volunteer appreciation week so they gave me a nice card and gift certificate to the local nursery. As soon as spring hits, I'll get some plants to replace the ones that bit the dust during the winter. It's 38 degrees here right now and sure feels like winter, though the sun is shining. I'm trying to eat my lunch, but it's not going down at all. Great.. as soon as I typed that I had to go PB. It's turkey tenders and mashed potatoes and gravy from Schwans. I took small bites and chewed well, but it didn't work. I'm guessing this is my sweet spot with the band. I could only eat a couple of bites of ham salad for breakfast (I know it sounds gross, but it's really yummy) and that was uncomfortable. I swore I wouldn't eat any more ice cream and I didn't yesterday. You know how smoothly it goes down!! I'll try and be strong today too. Just have to figure out how to get some protein in. I think cottage cheese is calling my name. Just wish I could find some fresh blueberries. Walmart was out last time I checked. Haylee. love the dress and the shoes in bronze. I go back to my school the end of May to help them with theirs. I love looking at the new batch of little ones coming in, even if I won't be there to teach them. HEY ROOMIE.... i remember the countdowns so well. checking off the conferences, the field trips, the Field Days, all those things that you finish up before summer comes. I absolutely loved teaching, never wanted to do anything else, but I sure knew when it was time to leave. I was fortunate enough to be able to retire when I was 57 after putting in 32 years. TracyK...check out my question on the trip site. I need to know whether to bring a checked bag or not. I'm off to pay some bills and practice a little bit before rehearsal tonight. sorry.. I didn't save any of my former clothes. I gave them all away to one of the ladies in the Bobster's church or sold them at a garage sale. I didn't want them to be around any more. I have enough before pictures of me, didn't want to keep the clothes too. however if anyone has an extra size 22/24W jeans, I'll just pretend they were mine!!

Pam and Tracyk... since I'm the last to arrive on Friday the 16th, (and I won't even mention about saving the best for last:lol:)...what's the best way to get the three of us together? I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I plan on just having a carry on so no need to stop at the baggage claim. UNLESS it would be easier that way... I can ALWAYS check a bag too.

When I was in my first chat room, many, many years ago and I saw that LMAO for the first time, I decided then and there it would be LMSO for me because I didn't need anything off my ass... I needed it off my stomach!! Now here we are at least 12 years later and you are doing the same thing. Great minds!!

Ditto for me to the letter. Last time I pb'd was just a few minutes ago. I decided to drink just after having a few bites of pork that became uncomfortable and up it all came just by bending over in the bathroom.
