  1. Dannon makes some low fat yogurt smoothies that are real thin and easy to drink. Cannon light smoothie. No fruit or chunks.
  2. I heard hiccups are a sign that you are full or eating/drinking too fast.
  3. Ditto on the walking! I have been struggling with the shoulder pain thing and I'm pretty sure it's because I haven't been walking enough. Today I've walked a few times and at firstnthought it made itnworse but then it settled down. Other than that the surgery recover has been pretty easy and I'm a big baby wimp. So I'm sure you will come through it great. Good luck!
  4. I just had mine on Thursday and I'm tender on my incisions but what is really annoying is my shoulder. If I lie down I'm fine but sitting up seems to piss my shoulder off. I'm sure it wil get better in time.
  5. Yes and I see you had your surgery in Mexico as well. I was on clear liquids for 3days and now am on full liquids which include cream of wheat (but really watered down) and cream of mushroom Soup. Protein shakes, Jello, etc. That goes on for 10 days. Then mushies for 2weeks then solid food. I'm sure I will be excited to just hit the mushie stage.
  6. Hey I had your exact weight, and bmi although I am once inch shorter. I had my surgery in Mexico but I have a friend whose insurance covered hers at 35 bmi but she had 3 weight related medical conditions. So you might qualify if you have medical issues.
  7. Cream of wheat was on the list he gave me but oddly enough there were no portion sizes on the liquid stuff like the protein drinks. I will try your blender yogurt protein mix. Thanks.
  8. After I got my final labs in Mexico they said I was free to eat whatever I wanted for my final meal. How lucky for me that they had the most fantastic steak lounge right across the street. It was the best meal in had ever had. And I got to have a margarita. Of course I know it will be a long time before I can have filet mignon again so maybe that is why it was so fantastic. I had my surgery the next day around 9:30am and everything went fine.
  9. Never thought I could be so ridiculously so excited about eating Cream Of Wheat or a chocolate protein drink. Does anyone have any hints? If it's liquids do I need to limit myself to half cups as I would with solid food or mushies?
  10. I just had my surgery Thursday in Tijuana. So far so good aside from the expected pain from recovery. The facility was beautiful and very sterile. Aside from the language barrier with the recovery nurse I had a positive experience.
  11. I just had surgery yesterday and I'm sore but it's my shoulder that's really bugging me. Dr said should only last a few days after surgery. Let's hope that's the case.
