I was banded on January 31, 2012 and you can also email me or anyone that wants any support. I am doing pretty good and have lost 23lbs and from size 14 to a 10 now. my band is almost 4cc not exactly 4. correae1971@gmail.com good luck everyone

I had my first fill also on 3/22 and I do feel the difference. I had 3cc with a few bites I'll be feeling that is coming right up so I stop eating don't like the feeling thou..

I went for my 4th week f/u and thinking that I was going for my first fill, but the dr. asked me about the red, green and yellow zone so not necessary u will get u fill that day. It depends on the zone u tell them u are and still lose the weight. I also asked how much fluid the band has and she said band is empty. I wont see them again until a month, but if i get hungry and eat between food and not losing any weight then I will call them and they will give me a fill immediately. I am doing fine without a fill yet.

Girl I was doing pain killer the gases pain was taking my breath away I used to get up in the m iddle of the night in pain couldn't find a p0sition in bed. it was horrible i would take the pain meds. Good luck!!

@B-52 I didn't have bandages I had glue... it will fall on its own...

I was banded 1.31.12 my follow up appt is on Feb 14 which is two weeks later...

I was sent home with nausea meds because I asked the nurse the day after my lapband try to drink my Breakfast which was liquid, I was so sick with nausea and I was going home that day. coulnd't finish it. She paged the doc and order a prescriptions with my discharge papers is the one to put under your tongue and thank god I haven't even use it yet. I can't stand been nauseated. Good luck and just ask for it.

Well as per my doctor I had to stay because of the Sleep Apnea that I have they it has to do with Respiratory system and the anesthesia part I had to even bring my mask from home.. they would not send me home on the same day and the respiratory personel comes at night to set up the machine...I am day 7 post today...

I am desperate with gas pain. Dont know what to do anymore...I am 4 days post op!!!!

I was just banded on January 31, was in liquid until today about 4pm I started my puree I have been doing pretty well and tolerating everything so far, nutritionist asked me to drink diet snapple, crystal light, tuna, canned chicken, cottage cheese, for the first & second week. I havent have time to feel hungry since I am doing it every 20 mins. for an hour. Hope this help a bit... Good luck everyone!!!

Well I also had to stay overnight at the hospital finally came home yesterday my surgery went well. no surprises like the doctor told me. Lot of gasses of course still on liquids til later on today nutritionist just called me to hear how i was doing with liquids if tolerating or not been doing pretty good. Lot of pain from the lil cuts that's about it. have to walk it out but meds put me right to sleep when i take it. I will start on puree later on today see how it goes. Congratulations hope u doing great after I am going for mines tomorrow. 01.31.12, I am very excited. BTW I am new in this forum and I love it. so much to learn.
