As I've stated. When all the medical professionals are telling me that they are working and my levels are good because of what I'm using, that's what I'm going to go with. Your personal feelings about the subject aside... my test results are showing they are working, not sure why you feel me telling folks the truth of what I'm personally dealing with is "misleading". I've never said they work when they aren't, I never misrepresented any of what I'm posting. Everything I'm posting is exactly what I'm doing, dealing with and what's being reported to me by several medical professionals. If I had any reason to believe otherwise, you can bet that I'd be skeptical. And I was skeptical going into the patches... but 6 months post op, 7 months from starting the patches, and not having any additional vitamin supplementation happening before my revision... not sure why you refuse to believe the truth of my situation.

Yep, same here. I found if I'm going to eat something sweet, it has to be the last bite of the 5 and it's that or another carb bite with the rest being protein. It's totally not worth it to feel like you're having a palpitation... Bread even made me feel sick so it's no joke when you cheat. I don't even want to know what a sugary drinks would do and I'm not about to find out!

Helllo Cmackpmp. Yes they can do them, and they are more common then people realize. Basically they go back in and reattach the stomach which is already attached to the large intestine, but has been sitting dormant in your abdomen. Where they bring the small intestine up to the stomach, is then removed, and you are returned to your natural anatomy.
There can be things that go wrong such as an ileus, where the colon does not wake up, and the dormant stomach can have issues readjusting as well, however the reversals have been done for many years with much success.
I was unaware of this as well, and simply made a plea to my physician to help me ,as I have been through some many surgeries since the initial procedure, and have had so many complications that the possible problems at this point in time seem minor then continuing to live the way I have been living.
There of course is he risk of gaining some weight back but the surgery is simply a tool to lose weight anyway and I as well as anyone else could gain the weight with or without the reversal. I simply have to get my life back.
I am certainly glad my medical records and history over the past year and a half were enough to quickly convince my insurance company that it is consider medically necessary and they are paying or the surgery.
I hope this answers your questions.

I was approved by my surgeon, head nurse, head pharmacist and my nutritionist to try them out. I'm coming up on my 6 month labs so I'll have more information about longer term usage then. But my 3 month labs were all within normal ranges expect for my Vitamin D, but I live in New England and I work IT... so my Vitamin D intake is nill to begin with. But every other tested level was within normal ranges.
