Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
I am not a Kaiser person but i was told by my NUT that since we cannot possibly eat what we used to that we don't really need to count anything. Low carb is anything under 150 a day and we need the carbs for energy and calories i get between 1000 to 1200 a day and already eat low sodium and am not a huge sweets person. I personally didn't have this surgery to sit here and spend my day counting everything I eat but everyone is different. I find that I eat a lot of dairy and meats and then fit in veggies and carbs when I can. I just went on vacation to Vegas for a week and ate whatever i wanted (no issues eating out either) and still lost 6 lbs which i was thrilled about. I tend to go on stalls for a few weeks and then will lose 4lbs and then 2lbs but am averaging 10 lbs a month now. My only issue is exercising...i need to start doing that. I lost 25lbs prior to surgery day and about 40lbs since surgery. Started at a size 20/22 and i now fit into 16s which i haven't done since i was 19...crazy  This surgery was the best thing i have done and i have no regrets even if i sometimes might get frustrated i cannot finish my plate (but that's a good thing!). I have no issues with eating, going out to dinner and just stay away from pasta and puffy breads because they fill me up way too fast.

Those are the ones that i use i buy them at my doctors office. Way easier to eat 3 of those a day then take 12 different pills (and cheaper). I like the strawberry and wild cherry so far.

What Vitamins Are You Taking?
I take Bariatric Fusion...they are chewable and have EVERYTHING you need. I take 3 or 4 a day (dr wants 4 but i tend to take 3). I have tried strawberry, cherry and tropical so far. Id rather do that then take a ton of other pills. I also take one Biotin pill a day to try to help with the hair.

The one on here i dont like because when i put in my current weight it only does it in whole pounds and not ounces...but lets your starting weight have it. Ugh.

Grr is anyone else super annoyed that they just REMOVED our non VST tickers!!!! I didnt like the ones on here becuase they never worked correctly. I was using that other ticker to keep track of my weekly loss...now i have to go try to locate it and duplicate it here... PS: you cant find your old ticker unless you have the web address which i dont becuase i would just click on it to get to it...sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoyed!!!!!

Is There Something Wrong?
I never threw up but once (it was my fault) and as for tastes...water tasted like water hot or cold and the only thing i noticed the first month was how sweet everything tasted. It has sort of leveled out now and i still think some things are sweet but I am pretty much back to normal.

Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
I Did it!!! I weighed in this morning at 229.6 (a number i havent seen since my Junior year of college) and am down 50 lbs!!!! I have never been able to lose more than 20 lbs at a time and now I am down 50. Only 26 of that is after surgery (I had a 3 week stall) but I am still happy and I have no regrets. I only got sick once at the beginning but i can eat everything with no issues. I dont need to drink protein drinks becuase i get enough protein from food. I dont even feel like I had surgery except for the fact that I can now only eat a third or maybe fourth of what i used to! I am down to a solid size 18 and some large but mostly xl tops (used to be a 22 and xxl top) and the only annoying thing is all the shopping i have to do haha i am trying to limit myself to a few things here and there but for work i need business casual so its not super cheap. I hope everyone else feels the same and from the posts i see everyone is doing great with their loss! Now to get my butt to the gym

I Can't Drink One More Protein Shake!

I was sleeved on 9/5...i guess maybe im just more aware of the natural shedding as i never psid attention before lol- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
Has anyone noticed an increase in hair shedding yet? Its starting to freak me out even though only i notice it. I will admit I am vain about my hair haha- Gallbladder Removal
i had my gallbladder removed years ago..i was released the same day. I was a little loopy for a couple days but wasn't in any pain. Energy was back within a week and it was like i had nothing done. Everyone is different but i wouldn't compare it at all to this surgery...if anything its a lot easier.- Sleeved Aug 24Th And Down 50 Lbs...and...
Congrats!- Has Anyone Had Their Period During Surgery?
I did. They gave me these disposable undie things and a pad to put on to wear during surgery. When i was up and mobile i just switched into my own undies and good pads (i hate the thick ones),- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
I am only at 20 lbs since surgery so were in the same boat.- Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call
