I have a 11 cc band. First fill was 4cc's and the second added 2 more. I don't have any restriction either. I still eat healthy but was hoping to have a little help on days when I feel like cheating! I hope the third fill is the charm!

this may be best post ever. thank you fro a morning laugh .
re thick fluids: ie milkshakes heavy frozen drinks...frozen yogurt.: they get stuck in your espohogus as you get filled. they irritate the band. your body produces thick sticky saliva( called sliming by some. ). this Fluid DOESNT pass. it forces you to vomit back .
the fluid youre talking about ....should go down no problem. its not like its a cupful. good luck to you and congrats to your husband,

Gee, why wouldn't you want to ask your doctor that? LOL! There is absolutely no reason not to. You won't do any damage to your band. Congrats on your success so far and Happy New Year!

Try a hot pack on your shoulder, it seems to help most folks. Some people seem to get some relief from 'windmilling'
their arms (when no one is looking). I hope this helps and your pain eases. The most helpful thing will just be time.

Hi I like Jillian Michael s Chocolate, I mix it with Sugar free Almond Milk, Ice and put in my bullet. or I mix the Vanilla with Cold Coffee and blend. I have for Breakfast or sometimes after the Gym. A good way to up the protein with out the calories. Many Nutrition prefer you eat mainly real food. But I think their is a place for them in ones plan.

There are many different types out there...are you looking for a thinner liquid or do you like thick texture? My go to now is Isopure smoothies which are fruit flavored 180 - 210 calories for 32 grams of protein. I use powdered flavored protein in milk or coffee...(cool coffee otherwise it clumps!). I also use the high protein low carb Slimfast ready to drink as a change of pace...at our support group meetings sometimes we have tastings so we don't have to buy or get stuck with proteins we don't like. Good luck.... haven't found a "good" protein bar yet but that's me... Linda
