  1. Hi, sorry for the confusion on my part. I am just really unclear about your weight loss history. It states that you have lost 121 lbs since surgery on 8/9/2012. Can you please elaborate more in detail your weight loss history so that we can be of more help to you. Thanks,

  6. Its really normal to have 'uncertain' feelings. Listen, this is a 'boyfriend' and I hate to say this but its your body and your health. If he doesn't understand why you choose to get healthy, then maybe its time to start thinking about your relationship. Also, if he is that significant to you why haven't you told him from the start? I think the best thing to do here is to discuss your health with him and the reason this surgery must be done, you may be surprised, and if he loves you, no matter what he will be there for you. Take care,
  7. Today I had to go to the my PCP because I became severly congested over the weekend. Not to mention how my stomache feels from all that hacking, sorry tmi... (I have Bronchitis) I was given antibiotics and an inhaler. Anyway, today I hit under the 300 mark and weigh 298 lbs. and even though its still a high number it just feels so darn good to be out of the 300 + .. I was so happy I had to share, even though I am too sick to jump up and down yet
  8. Go out or have someone go out and buy you bottles of Gatorade. You can dilute the already watered gatorade with water or just drink it straight. You need to keep hydrated. I lived on water and gatorade for several weeks. I can't drink diet drinks at all because of the 'sweetners' trigger my acid reflux. Flavor your water if you are having a hard time drinking it with 'natural' juices. I did this also. For example: I would dilute my water with apple juice, cranberry juices, and even grape juices. You can even squeeze fresh fruits into your water as well for flavor, such as oranges, lemons, limes. Just keep drinking all day long, this is going to be the power you need to heal.
  9. Also, remember if you decide to use a heating pad do NOT put it on your belly! Oh, gatorade G2 is a must!
  10. sending good vibes your way.....
  11. I saw that too!! omg, I love pumpkin and now that fall is here... I am soo going to make some 'new' dishes for thanksgiving this year, whoohooooo!
  12. i just shared the entire site with all my facebook friends/family. I already printed out a few recipes. I am so happy you shared this with us, I love to cook and bake and always looking for new cooking recipes that are low fat with all the nutrional facts in it!! A+++++++
  13. That looks great.. I am going to make these.. not to mention the Protein is 15.5 grams. nice find, thanks!!
  14. I 'try' not to go over 100 a day, and there are times I have but I have no worries about it because it still balances itself out at the end of the week..
  15. It happens, and is very normal. The only advice I can offer is make sure you are getting in enough of proteins. You should be drinking plenty of water and taking your vitamins. Our bodies are going through some major changes, especially from foods we once would eat tons of, such as carbs/sugar. You could be going through withdrawls from these. Fresh fruits can curb some of these cravings. It will pass....
  16. any kind of wine that is NOT carbonated. There are tons of divine wines out there, you can shop around for prices because they all do vary. I love white zinfindel wines, not to sweet and not to dry. It has to be right in the middle. My fav is by Beringer, and the price is very affordable.
  17. Me too CG, I think that is when I will make it my first drink.Maybe thanksgiving since I host it. However, I shall wait till all the cooking is done so I don't start dropping things on the floor, or on anyone, heeeheeee
  18. After watching Grey's tonight I needed a bottle of wine.....

  20. 10 days you had dirreahea? thats an awful long time you could dehydrate you know. Call up your surgeon asap!
  21. I am very sorry to hear this Tonks I am sure someone who might have experienced this will contact you or comment giving you more information. You appear to have a positive attitude, that is wonderful to have! I believe this is not the end of the road for you, you have continued to be successful in your weight loss, and you know all there is to keep it off! You are going to be just fine! ((hugs)) Take care of yourself,...
  22. The gas you are experiencing is internal. The only way you are going to get some relief from this is to walk it out. Many say a heating pad can help, however do NOT put the heating pad on your belly. Gas x strips you can try. Um, twirl your arms in circular motions (like a windmill). Walk, walk, move, move around..... wish you luck, it will pass!! Hand in there!!!
  23. I use "Loseit" and I wouldn't know what I would do without it!
